This is not a French restaurant. It is recommended for its large salads, but we did not partake of that dish. We went for the three course "formula" dinner. It was our worst experience in France.
The wife chose the onion soup for the first course which was inconsistent in temperature from the top to bottom. Cold on the bottom and burning hot on the cheese level. My snails were also inconsistent in temperature and rubbery in texture. Flavor of the snails did not reach the proper profile of Escargot if my past experiences in France.
The second course for the wife was a dried out roasted chicken with the "famous" garlic fried potatoes that also were not acceptable. My Cassoulette of beans, duck and sausage were beyond recognition. It was again a large portion that went back to the kitchen not indulged.
The desserts were also not acceptable. The server never checked on our satisfaction of the three courses.
I presented our credit card for payment and was informed they do not accept credit cards. That was my fault for not checking.
You do not want to go this place in the 18th district of Paris. They need to be moved to the 7000th plus restaurant on the TA web site.
