Myself and my fiancé went here and enjoyed a good meal. good not great, Its a fun way to spend an evening.

We started by queuing from 6-45, the queue was quickly extending round the corner.

Once inside as you'll see from the other reviews you'll get a salad with walnuts and a punchy dressing, good not great.

Next is the main event the steak well cooked, with well cooked fries and the great sauce, zingy with citron and a hint of mustard, it compliments the steak really well.

All in all a good restaurant, would be great with a group of mates, who want to try something slightly different in a good atmosphere, I'd go back as a big group of us!

There are too many good restaurants in San Germain area to waste your money on this restaurant that consisted of rude waitresses, average fries soaking in green special sauce and steak the quality of a McDonalds hamburger. The price of our meal was 164 euros which included a bottle of wine and 4 deserts a simple salad, tons of of fries and steak in greasy green sauce. Not only that they were putting the chairs up on the table as they were clearing our table for desert. Totally disappointed.

We went to the place close to les Champs Elysees. We waited around 20 minutes to get a table around eight pm. We didn't quite know what was going on until the waitress came to our table. From then on in it was a very pleasant experience. The starter was good, the meat was awesome, and the sauce kinda freaky but still enjoyable. We had a half bottle of wine to the food, which turned out to be a very affordable option. I would recommend going for steak frites and just for the experience.

Traveling companions had eaten here 10 years ago and loved it so much they wanted to go back. Reservations not accepted, but we arrived at 8:45pm on a Friday night to a "reasonable" line at the door. Our party of eight was seated in two groups of four in about 45 minutes. Service was quick and efficient - "How do you want your steak cooked? What would you like to drink?" - Steak was perfectly cooked, sauce was amazing, frites so hot you couldn't eat them. They serve you the first 1/2 of your steak sliced on a plate and then keep the other 1/2 warm and come back and serve it to you still warm - very nice touch. Drank two bottles of the "house red" - very drinkable and went well with the meal. The only challenge: which of the desserts to order? We four at our table and shared and they were all excellent. Total tab for our table was about 138 euros - best money we spent while in the City of Lights...

We ate here on Valentines Day, after lining up for over 1hr but it was well worth the wait.Apparently you cant book which makes the food that much better when you finally get to eat-twice.First the salad comes out which is pretty good for a entree, then the steak and famous green sauce which is sooo good.Steak was cooked as asked and both serves tasted like some of the best steak we have eaten and fries also nice big serves and very hot.Would loved to have gone here several times.Would recommend to anyone who likes steak.
