Although Le Rech is not easy to find (about 14 min. walk from Etoile stop near Arch de Triumph), it was worth the agony of the search in a non-tourist arrondisemont.
Our 68 euro pp was well worth the price. Our amuse buche won us over immediately. Our main plat was a sea bass simply prepared and fresh from the sea. The cheese course was a tasty Camembert made especially for them in a "cave". Our dessert was a hazelnut seasalt caramel
delight. Our first course was a mullet carpaccio that was a great starter. Our wine was quite pricey; a half bottle of rose for 36 euros. Most of the diners were French family and friends dining
out for 2-3 hrs. in a comfortable setting.Service improved from a "cool" greeting to real warmth as the evening progressed. Our bill for 2 was 172 euros. A lovely 46 anniversary treat for the 2 of us.
