“The best meal we had in Paris during our stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2009

A Saturday night and we'd not made any reservation. Turned up at a restaurant I'd seen on Trip Advisor - Le Tournebievre - but there was no space. So wandered a little further along the same street and were lucky to come across Le Reminet......... AND they had space!

We were shown downstairs to the cellar - a little claustrophobic, perhaps, but full of character nonetheless. Beautiful food, some of it quite unusual (my "green tea cream millefeuille" for dessert was strange, but delicious) and not the least bit pretentious.

We'll definitely go back - and make sure we have a reservation next time!

“Loved Everything About Le Reminet!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2009

This was a perfectly delicious meal from start to finish. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive and we had such a wonderful evening. We had a creme of celery amuse bouche, foie gras entree, and we had sea bass and (no way to say this in English that sounds as delicious as the French) pork cheeks. PS - pork cheeks are amazing. I. Loved. Every. Bite. Of. This. Meal! Dessert: one rhubarb/strawberry creme fraiche thang, and one chocolate souffle-y item filled with heaven. I am only slightly biased by the fact that my honey proposed to me just before we went to dinner! But then again, think of what a let-down it would have been had things gone awry! Fortunately, the meal and service, and my honey's proposal, made it an evening I will never forget.

“Fantastic French food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2009

We had fantastic food at Le Reminet. Duck was superb. It was my birthday so it was a fabulous way to help celebrate. Dessert was a masterpiece to behold. Did not want to eat at first because it looked so good, but hey, it's dessert. Just fantastic, would go again!!
