Description: Le Mesturet is a classic Parisian bistro located in the heart of Paris between the Grand Boulevards and the Louvre Museum.Passionate about what they do, Alain Fontaine, the owner, and his chef, Pascal Brot, are the creative forces behind Le Mesturet’s traditional French cuisine. With the help of their energetic dining room and the kitchen teams they have created an exceptional restaurant where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. You will love our typical French dishes, home-made desserts, wine menu filled with discoveries and bistro atmosphere. We have two air-conditioned dining areas available for large groups, anniversaries and other events: there is our main dining room, decorated in a cosy “old Paris” style, which seats 86 as well as an additional dining room that seats 30. Welcome !

If you want a French Country restaurant with great service and down home food, this is it. Same as it was 3 years ago except now I was served by owner's son Roman. Sat in the window, had great conversation with table next to us. Roman selected perfect wine to accompany both our dinners, veal stew and wife had steak tartar, and Roman explained traditional vs new world tartar. Eggplant salad will be recreated in states at home. Will be back again.

We are staying at The Louvre Hotel and the restaurant is only about 5-10 minute walk down the Rue de Richelieu. We were recommended to keep here by a lovely young local guy who has an apartment in the same street. Wow, a bit sceptical when we first read the menu for example, calf head wrapped in bacon, however, that said, we had the very best food ever, hubby had the veal and it was tender beyond reason and oh so tasty, I had the chicken roulade with a fennel seed cake and it was Devine. Loved that the Chef came out a couple of times to see if we were enjoying our dinner. Great value for money, excellent, friendly staff - two mains, tasty as olives, fresh bread and 5 glasses of wine for only 59 euro. A wonderful dinner, highly suggest you take a walk and try and find this restaurant, hopefully you might meet our young tour guide at a local bar on the same road. Thanks mate for the great recommendation!

We have walked past this place a few times and every time they have has quite a crowd, so I guess we thought it must be good...and boy were we right..we were welcomed immediately by Roman our waiter who was unbelievably helpful and full of advice on whatever we asked ...the food was delicious and they were happy to change the meal from pasta to salad as a side order..the wine was fruity and easy to drink the company sensational... What more could you ask of Paris. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and great atmosphere

We had a wonderful dinner at Le Mesturet, family business, very friendly personal, traditional French cuisine, good wine card, clean restaurant, typical French layout, unfortunately only my steak wasn't good, but everybody else were happy

What a nice surprise to have dinner at this restaurant. The staff was friendly, the food was good and reasonably priced. Wine was excellent at a good value. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
