Le Cafe Lenotre works together with Ecole Lenotre, a culinary school. Service is almost perfect and the environment is great: beautiful terrace, comfortable tables, and a luxury "mini-market" of kitchen products, including special ones produced by Lenotre. Main courses are good, but deserts are better. Price is pretty high for a full meal, and I didn´t find "menu" options - only "a la carte". Is is open during the afternoon as a "cafe", but it serves main courses only during lunch and dinner hours.

My husband went for a leisurely walk aloung the boulevard and discovered this restaurant hidden in the trees. He made reservations for dinner and it was wonderful. The food, especially the seafood was excellent and the staff was top notch. The interior is quite lovely. We will go again the next time we get to Paris.

Don't be misled by the name of this place. This is nothing like your ordinary "Café" :)

Recommended by the Michelin Guide (though without stars....) you can expect a great menu here with seasonal ingredients and year-long classics.
Try their lobster with caviar and watercress reduction or their truffle potato cake with sea scallops. The plating and the taste are simply amazing.

Lenotre is famous for its deserts and you won't be disappointed by their limited albeit excellent selection. Their chestnut mousse is to die for.
Their XXL napoleon is a must try though I find it too big (hence less classy than the rest) for this type of establishment.

Not cheap but what a place to watch the world go by! We spent 2hrs sat in the Paris sunshine looking over the Champs Elysee with a beer or two and a cakke. Bliss!!!!
