Recommended by an ex Parisian, we had a great time here. We booked a late dinner and were well looked after. There was a great buzz about the place from the diners and it was nice to hear a pianist playing in the background. We started with the foie gras & the tuna - both delightful. We then had steaks - both perfectly cooked. Cheese and desserts were delicious. All washed down with a Chablis and a St Julien Moulin Riche Bordeaux. We noticed that with diners who ordered steak, they were prompt at checking whether it was cooked to the request of the diner - this was a nice touch. A couple next to us were not completely happy and the waiter sorted it with no fuss immediately. To be honest, the speed of the service was a little frustratingly slow at times, perhaps not enough waiters on the night, but it was impossible to get annoyed as the waiters that were there were very charming whenever you spoke with them and responded immediately. The only negative - don't sit in the line of the front door opposite the bar on a cool night as the draught can be annoying from the automatic door. It would be a simple thing for them to solve!
