The waiters operate at such a pace that everything is noisy and frantic. Typical French waiters, unfriendly with an offhand manner.
The shellfish was well presented and with the exception of the crab tasted Ok. The crab however was awful. It had been over cooked to the extent that there was no brown meat left in the shell at all. The white meat had no taste WHATSOEVER, and I suspect may have been frozen after cooking due to he texture of the white meat. However this texture may have been due to the over cooking.
The meal was €98 for 2 sea food platters, it would not have been good value at half that amount. The portions were OK, but bear in mind most of what is presented is shells!!
Clearly the buyers for their crab have never seen let alone tasted a Cromer or Newlyn crab, or maybe I have been spoiled in doing so!!!!
