This is the place to go if you want to eat reasonably priced tradtional bistro food, something which has become very hard to find today. The service is very quick and the waiters are polite, another rarity in Paris today. The food is simple but perfectly cooked. I had a "steak-pommes frites". The steak was tender and tasty and the crisp pommes frites were maybe the best I have ever had. With an apple tart, a glass of wine and a coffee, the meal cost about 40 euros. This restaurant is almost next to the Musee d'Orsay and so if you want to avoid crowds, get there early.

cafe/bar, good food at reasonable prices. Staff friendly & helpful. Blackboard Menu in English, but ask about specials of the day. Full of local parisians is a good sign.We had 1 entree, 2 main courses, 2 glasses of wine and 2 deserts for 80 euros (creme brulee so good I could have eaten 2 more)

All the reviews I read were true. The ravioli was perfect. The pomme frites filling and delicious. The cut up half a pineapple for me for desert. Sooooo goood. Served me at 11 pm as well. Didn't treat me like an ugly American wins them big points. Even though I am pretty ugly.

Great food, great atmosphere. Walked in with a group of five for lunch, were seated immediately. Service was quick and friendly (even though we spoke very little French). We had the plat du jour (sea bass and mashed potatoes), and the ravioli, both of which were delicious.

The menu is only on a slate blackboard, not very easy to figure out but so romantic!
The Andouillette comes in a great creamy Dijon mustard sauce and is delicious. The mashed potatoes were home made with wonderful chunks of potatoes inside the mashed part. The French fries are wonderfully crunchy and thin and came with steak tartare (raw ground meat that looked very fresh), a very popular French dish. The Mont Blanc was a plain fromage blanc on top of chestnut spread, a bit too healthy! The moelleux au chocolat (lava cake) was a small but delicious lava cake with vanilla ice cream and whipped chantilly cream. We fought over it. We were surrounded by chic American tourists (behaving like parisians!) who had heard about this place.
