We ate at this restaurant twice in our short stay in Paris. We had to go back after the first experience as the food and service were exceptional. Our waiter both occasions was fantastic. His name is Maleck and he added to our wonderful experience here. Amazing value for the money you pay. We ordered escargot with garlic butter (had this dish twice as it was delicious) salmon with pink peppercorn and dill, tuna tartare with avocado, cucumber and mango; steak tartare with fries and creme brûlée for dessert. On both occasions we accompanied these dishes with a delicious rose and then a red wine. Wine was obviously amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant for those wanting affordable French cuisine.

Situated conveniently 20 metres walk from Anvers metro station this restaurants sits just on the corner in the path of Sacre Coeur. From the outside the restaurant looks modern, clean and has a very inviting menu.

Inside the tables are well spaced and the atmosphere in general is relaxing, for starters we ordered the cured salmon with pink peppercorns and the cooked fois gras with apple chutney and caramelised apples, the salmon was fresh and delicious, the highlight of the fois gras dish was the apple chutney, the fois gras I found a little greasy although well presented.

Main courses were Asian spiced pork ribs with assorted vegetables and duck with what was supposed to be dauphinois potatoes but arrived as mashed potatoes and carrots, slightly disappointing but it was delicious.

Desserts were profiteroles filled with cream and topped with chocolate sauce and café gourmand (cup of espresso with varied small desserts) the profiteroles were good but the gourmand I found boring, a sponge finger, a small glass of marinated nectarines and the worlds smallest crème brulee didn't excite the pallet.

Overall the service was good, the venue was smart and relaxed, food was well presented but nothing outstanding, a safe bet indeed. Three courses and two beers plus water and service came to 85 euro.

This little place provided wonderful food in a sort of hotel lobby type atmosphere. The chef came out and we explained that we were foodies - how does one categorize as such...gourmand? Pigs? Well, he went to the effort to mix up the menu. A traditional onion soup that was the best I've had (although I don't get it often) and an escargot in cream sauce. Very clever, and very tasty. We had some perfectly baked chicken and foie gras for the main. Unique mix and worth a try as one of the Montmarte/Martrys new restaurants and chefs trying to go against the michelin star grain. Thumbs up

Cassolette snails good but a little bland (before I added salt).

Lamb shank melted just enough, coco beans also.
Coffee Gourmand enough (serving size of the previous dishes made that there was not enough room for profiteroles nor St-Marcellin ...).

Calm atmosphere (which is what we wanted), friendly service (with just the right distance).

I ate at the table d'anvers once with a business partner. We both had the Siroin steak and both were satisfied with eat. It was well-cooked and served with home made sauce and french fries.
Service is very friendly
