Description: The third owners - since June 2018 - of the restaurant La Poule au Pot, a Parisian institution that has been open for more than 80 years, Élodie and Jean-François Piège have imagined a menu that is part of France's culinary heritage through the generosity of bourgeois cuisine - emblematic of French savoir-vivre from the 19th century until the 1950s - which is reflected in these dishes. A convivial state of mind which is reflected in the place, refreshed, but left, as one of the characteristics of its dishes, "in its juice", typical of the 30s.

Visited with a colleague for a late dinner and absolutely loved the place. My starter of aubergine "caviar" was pleasant, but not amazing, however the main of veal liver grilled in garlic and parsley was fantastic. Both dishes were from the specials board, not the main menu. The service was impeccable - respectful, friendly and efficient. Amazingly, this place is open till 5 AM!

We enjoyed a very nice dining experience at La Poule of Pot for the last night of our Parisian vacation. The restaurant offers a nice French menu with local touch. All food was fine from the escargots and onion soup, the lamb, cocq and the steaks, and the deserts (profoteroles and prunes au vin). Nice wine. Good Service. Nothing to complain about.

I've been to paris many times and many times have attempted to have dinner at a local competitors eatery. It's always closed! A nice Parisian lady recommended this place as an alternative. We weren't too disappointed. Classic bistro fare. The veal livers in mustard sauce were a carnivores delight. The place has a lively vibe and the staff were great. Check it out, it's a bit if an institution.

Came here 18 months ago and had a magical time. This time with a larger group, I though the service was a little hit and miss - food remained fantastic but at the pricey end of the non-fine dining spectrum. Wouldn't rush back for a third trip.
