The night we ate in this small bistro near Sacré Coeur, most of the patrons were young, energetic Parisians, and it was a little loud, but we enjoyed the atmosphere. The people next to us said it was too noisy. The decor is simple, dark and edgy. As other reviewers have said, the barman is a creative genius. We asked him to make whatever he wanted for us, and what he made was a delicious passion fruit mojito. The chef's creative French (with international influences) cuisine does not disappoint either. We selected the 36 euros three course prix fix option, an excellent value. For entrées (appetizers) we had the foie gras and a cauliflower bisque with beet puree - both delicious. Our mains were noix de Saint-Jacques (scallops) perfectly prepared, and extraordinarily delicious black (squid ink) rice with calamari and andouille sausage. We both had the deconstructed citron tart for dessert - one of the most delicious desserts we had during our entire week in Paris. The wine list is very good, with many reasonable priced wines. This not an atmosphere for a quiet, romantic dinner, but it is fun and the food and drinks are exceptional at a fair price.
