The food was sublime, the staff attentive, the cost very reasonable, the owner like an immediate old friend. Could not have ended our time in Paris with greater joy.

After 8 days in Paris we spent our final evening here. The owner / chef welcomed us warmly. We had several interactions with him throughout the evening. He seems genuinely fond of Americans. Spoke with some delight about having served both president Bush and president Obama. We felt no less regal. Be courteous and respectful and be treated the same. As a restauranteur from the US I fel a great a great kinship.

we had booked and confirmed booking 3 times, having also been there two weeks previous, arrived off a plane straight to restaurant, 15 mins late, table gone, and manager refusing to give us a table... after heated discussion he gave us a table to be given back in 45 minutes!.... proceeded to serve, food was good ... they extended our stay....but how much easier for everyone if it managed better..

Came here for dinner our second night in Paris. My sister read about it in her guidebook for having the best soufflés, have not ever received such a kind welcome from the chef! He came by our table and even showed us the kitchen and how they makes soufflés. He let us take pictures into kitchen while the rest of the staff looked on rather annoyed/embarrassed about how nice he was being. The other servers did not smile rather looked confused. The soufflés were the most delicate delicious I 've ever had, truly something took give a try. Many thanks to the extremely friendly chef who made it such an enjoyable experience! We did arrive a bit earlier around 6:30pm as others and noticed throughout our meal that it got packed. We were asked if we had a reservation when we arrived but it looks like we were able to miss the crowd. An all around nice experience!

We were invited by Parisian friends to dine at this excellent restaurant. Food, service and ambience are all great. Definitely not a tourist trap. Souffles are excellent, as other reviewers have described in detail.
