Description: Located in Paris just a stone's throw from the prestigious Champs Elysées, is this great Moroccan restaurant offering a setting reminiscent of a Thousand and One Nights. Enjoy an array of Eastern dishes such as cous cous, pastillas(sweet meat pies), barbecued lamb and a great variety of tajines, all at more than affordable prices, particularly considering the location of the restaurant. The red and gold décor will transport you away to another land

We popped into this wonderful restaurant whilst Le Tour de France was in town hoping and praying there would be a table. Alas, they were full however, if we ate and left before 9:30 approx then we were welcome. so we did. We were not disappointed this little Moroccan gem served us the most delicious lamb with cous cous, a traditional moroccan salad and lamb skewers with mint tea to follow. It was superb and the waiter "Abdeslam" was just charming ... he explained the food and its heat and origins. Oh we soooo recommend you visit :-)

Our family of 7 had dinner here on our last night in Paris, after we got tired of French food all the time. We have been to Morocco previously so are quite familiar with Moroccan food. Everything was absolutely DELICOUS and portions were huge. We had several different tagines - chicken with preserved lemon, chicken with artichoke hearts and peas, lamb and another chicken, plus cous cous. Everything was cooked to perfection, aromatic, flavorful, tender . . . we wished we had found it sooner as we certainly would have eaten there more than once. The waiters were very nice - most friendly service we had during our stay in France. A little understaffed, which seems to be the case at most restaurants in Paris. I guess they are cutting costs. So, the meal took a long time and we were not able to stay for dessert, which looked just as good as the appetizers and main dishes. We can not recommend this highly enough. Go, and enjoy.

Stayed next door at Hotel Galileo so popped in for dinner on my own. It was 6.30 and I was the only one in the restaurant. The waiters were so nice and friendly. I have been to Morocco many times so loved the decor and atmosphere-this place is genuine and has been in business for 30 years. Chicken with lemon tagine and cous cous ending with a delicious pot of mint tea! Can't wait to come back with my family.

This beautifully maintained restaurant is located on a quiet street just a few minutes from all of the action on the Champs-Elysées. The charming interior with soft lighting, bubbling fountain and music reminds me of my trips to North Africa. I've been to Morocco before and the food was just as good as the real thing. The service is impeccable portions of their wonderful couscous and tagines are hearty.
