Went her for my birthday , was very impressed initially with the decor , atmosphere and service , however as the meal went on the service deteriorated and was non existent by the end of the meal. Food was very good quality , it's a great place to experiment with new cuisine though service leaves much to be desired, could be so much better .

It is in a convenient and great location, but the cuisine is average and the service average. Their steamed vegetable dish used to be exceptional and no longer is.

About three years ago, my friend and I had lunch at this restaurant and really liked it. Today we were roaming Paris on New Years Day and ended up at L'Avenue again. The service is very friendly and attentive and this time we got a great corner table by the window. The menu is not cheap but it offers original dishes at a very good quality. Lots of seafood with Asian elements. For starters we took the grilled eggplant with mozzarella, avocado / grapefruit salad and Thai spring rolls. All very fresh and tasty. For main course we ordered grilled sea bass (a daily special) and the pan-fried scallops. Both were also good although a little less butter would not have hurt. While enjoying the meal, we could observe the fashionable people walking up and down the Avenue Montaigne. The total arrived at EUR 230 but we enjoyed the meal and a great afternoon.

Elegant, well located on the avenue Montaigne where all the fashion designers have their flagship shops. The food and the service were superb. The people around us very elegant and smiling. Superb memory.
