“best value in Paris”
Reviewed August 9, 2014

We stumbled upon this falafel restaurant in the Marais while trying to find something delicious and cheap to eat (we were in the wrong city for "cheap"). This place totally blew us away, and changed our lives while in Paris! The falafel is amazing, the best I've every had. Get it spicy, or extra spicy if you like heat. It's only 6 euro for a falafel, and it's so filling you won't want to eat for at least 4 hours. The atmosphere is really fun too, you're standing in a crowded street, with people shouting and enjoying their falafels outside. You can also sit indoors, but the wait can be long, and it's more expensive (falafel is 8 euro inside, as opposed to 6 outside) so we always opted for outdoors. I also tried the shawarma, which was great, but the falafel is just unbeatable. There are tons of other falafel restaurants in area too, but this place takes the cake (we never tried the other places because we couldn't bring ourselves to be disappointed if they weren't as good). Plus, it's Lenny Kravitz's favorite falafel place :) not sure why that carries so much weight, but they have pictures of Lenny all over the place

“Quick and delicious”

A great stop in the marais for lunch. The best falafel ever. The service is very fast - I think we had our food within 5 minutes of sitting down.

“The real thing”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

Could be in downtown Tel Aviv. Real falafel and lots of traditional Israeli fare. Great hummus, eggplant salads, etc. A busy noisy place always bursting with customers. Takeout is available beside the main entrance. Kosher.

“Crunchy fresh falafel”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

Last time I visited Rue de Rosiers it was a bit boring and lifeless. But now it is buzzing with activity, cool shops and delicious smells coming from one of the top falafel restaurants in Paris.
Falafel was crunchy fresh with a big coleslaw dish with handmade humus. Delicious!
The others had shoarma pita, a meatball dish and chicken pita and those were also very good. The meatballs had a spicy seasoning. I still regret I did not ask for the recipe.
do not forget to order the home made lemonade. Refreshment with a Zesty Zing!

Only downside was that the toilets in the restaurant could be compared with those at the highway. not so good,
