Nice local place in the 12th behind the Hopital Saint-Antoine . Had just arrived in Paris on Sunday for a week. This was a true local, not touristy kind of place. I had a half dozen escargot and the formulae while DW had a mushroom risotto. A carafe plus a glass of Pouilly Fume along with good bread and we were set for the rest of the afternoon. All the food that passed by looked delicious especially the lobster. Would definitely recommend for lunch or dinner. Total bill was 66,1 euros.

I stayed at the hotel across the street and decided to try this place out after reading the reviews. It did not disappoint. My husband and I couldn't read the menu because it was in French, but the owner was very nice and translated some parts for us. We had the mini appetizer, jamon (prosciutto) and bread and an entree, the duck plate. All was very delicious! I also had a glass of red wine and my husband had a beer. All of it came out to 33€! This was a nice spot and made us feel like locals. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We will most likely go back again!

Mushroom risotto and escargot particularly fabulous. One of best places we ate in Paris and not expensive!

The reviews say it all. This is a wonderful "local" restaurant that has a nice range of menu options and delicious food. Even been sitting at a meal and seeing plates go by (or looking at what friends at your table ordered) that look so appetizing you ask the waiter "what's that!" (and say to yourself, I'm going to order that next time). This is one of those places. The best value in my opinion is to order the entree (French term for appetizers), a plate, and dessert for less than 30 Euros. The salmon crevice is wonderful. The duck's breast - my first time having this - is like a filet steak, and the first dessert on the menu (a cake "omelet" topped with ice cream, topped with meringue, with a little rum(?) in the omelet) is one of the restaurant's special. Add to this solid service and wonderful bread, it's a winning combination. We were in Paris for a week and ate their twice. Reservations are strongly recommended if you want a table before 9:30p. This is definitely not a tourist restaurant. Thanks Trip Advisor for helping us find L'Aubergeade.
