This is our sixth time to this restaurant and it has never disappointed us. The oeufs mayonnaise is the best we've had in Paris. Our favorite main course is the Suprême de Volaille. This chicken dish comes with a delicious creamy mushroom gravy and fabulous mashed potatoes. We always end our meal with a generous bowl of Crème Brûlée, one of the best in the city. Beware that the portions are very generous. My husband and I end up splitting the appetizer. The wine list is quite good. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality and quantity.
The service is pleasant and efficient. However, we are not sure how much English they speak since my husband speaks French.
The location is a little off the beaten track but it is well worth it. You are more likely to be dining with the locals than tourists. Note that this restaurant is not open on Sundays.
Do not confuse this restaurant with another called Restaurant Chez Paul. Restaurant Paul does not have a website. Also, do not confuse Restaurant Paul with the chain of pâtisseries named Paul as others have done in previous reviews.
We will definitely be back to Restaurant Paul next year. Bon appétit!
