This is our sixth time to this restaurant and it has never disappointed us. The oeufs mayonnaise is the best we've had in Paris. Our favorite main course is the Suprême de Volaille. This chicken dish comes with a delicious creamy mushroom gravy and fabulous mashed potatoes. We always end our meal with a generous bowl of Crème Brûlée, one of the best in the city. Beware that the portions are very generous. My husband and I end up splitting the appetizer. The wine list is quite good. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality and quantity.

The service is pleasant and efficient. However, we are not sure how much English they speak since my husband speaks French.

The location is a little off the beaten track but it is well worth it. You are more likely to be dining with the locals than tourists. Note that this restaurant is not open on Sundays.

Do not confuse this restaurant with another called Restaurant Chez Paul. Restaurant Paul does not have a website. Also, do not confuse Restaurant Paul with the chain of pâtisseries named Paul as others have done in previous reviews.

We will definitely be back to Restaurant Paul next year. Bon appétit!

A quiet little French restaurnat. We did not have reservations so we could not get a table outside but we had a lovely table inside. One of the great tings is that you can relax here. We were in a large table for the two of us and were not crammed into a postage stamp sized area. It appeared that this is a family run business but all of the service was very professional and courteous. The waitress were running (yes running) to give prompt service. The food was so good that you could not immagine better. We had escargot, skate and we had what on the menu was entitled "beef carpaccio" but was really steak tatare. Most Americans would say "Raw beef! Not me." Just try it. It is not chopped hamburger. It is chopped filet mignon with spices. The restaurant has an extensive wine list with wines of moderate prices all the way to over 1,000 Euros. This was one of our favorite places on our visit.

Incredible location, a small square into Ile de la cité serving top food exquisitely cooked in traditional French Style.
The owners are très chic, really super kind and the price is incredibly fair for the place, the menu and the choices of wines, both bottled and au verre.
Don't miss it!

This is restaurant must have one of the best locations in Paris. Sits in a wonderful little square on the Isle de la cite. On the terrace you can watch the locals playing petanque, while you dine on fine food, sipping fine wine. The menu is small, but well cooked and presented. Service is discrete, but friendly. Only negative, was the lack of vegetables/ salads.

Recommended . We dropped by using iphone app of tripadvisor (the one you are using right now ;) ). It was a blast. It is like eating at your granma's (the french one). Moreover, we were talking with two guys from paris sitting next table and one said the recipes are just like the old french traditional cusine would. Place is clean, beautiful and intimate atmosphere in the sunlight of a quiet square. Go for lunch NOW & get: SALMON, SALAD with chicken and CAFE GURMOND. We will definitely go back.
