“Don't miss this restaurant”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

Not far from Notre Dame des Champs Metro this restaurant was a delight. We visited mid week at 8pm and were lucky to get the last table. We were the only tourists there. There was a birthday party (we all sang joyeux anniversaire) and another large group, all having a whale of a time. The tables are close together in two rows so there was a great atmosphere as people chatted and laughed.
The waiters were charming and friendly. The food was wonderful.Just a great place to eat, drink and be merry.

“Will return”

Three of us had Carrie d'agneau, pied de cocoon, and canette, which seemed overcooked but the other two were very good. Yes, the tables are close but that made for fun conversation with neighbors. We had a carafe of wine, a glass for our non drinker, and escargot for me and paid €97 total. A very god value for very good food and an enjoyable atmosphere.

“a gem”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

This place reminds me of Cheers but a restaurant instead of a bar. I could feel the "where everybody knows your name" vibe. You are made to feel so welcome the moment you walk in. Nothing seem to be too much of a trouble for the 2 guys running front of the house. It was a Friday night and the place soon got busy. And it was amazing seeing this 2 guys juggling between attending to customers, taking orders, making drinks and serving food and still seem unfazed by it and had time for a banter or two. Best thing is they speak English which makes ordering so much easier. The food was good. I had an amazing mushroom dish for appetizer and a sole for main which i really enjoyed. Yes they do de-bone the fish for you but i had mine as it is and it was delicious. My husband had the saucisson and the coq a vin which he throughly enjoyed as well. Even though i was so full I had to order the artichoke because it looked so good and shared it with the couple next to us whom we didn't know but soon got acquainted. It was needless to say yummy. This place has such a relaxing, non-pretentious ambience which made this dining experience totally satisfying.
