I really enjoy this place and its lovely fresh salads, simple menu, fresh bread with delicious olive oil, and great red table wine. It is consistently good (we have been coming here on trips to Paris for 10 years), especially the appetizers and the pastas with clams, although between us, we taste practically everything on the menu. I would agree with a previous reviewer that the meat sauce (ragu) is probably the weakest entry, try something else.
We always stay around Boulevard St. Germain - Rue des Saints Peres and this is one of the places we like for a great value. The dining experience is always nice and easy, not rushed, and a very pleasant evening, English is not a problem, and the prices are moderate for the area.
