This was our first visit to Cafe Flore. Having tried other bistros on past visits we thought we'd give this one a try. It was convenient to our hotel and, though touristy, had quite a few locals there when we arrived. It always seems quite busy and the waiters are kept hopping. We were served quickly and efficiently though, like most places in the city, the waiters do not bother you or hover so we did have to track one down to pay when we were ready. We enjoyed our quiche but found it a bit expensive and not anything out of the ordinary for the price. Perhaps this is Paris or perhaps the pricing had to do with the cafe's fame. We chose not to return for the rest of our stay, preferring to pick up simple fare from local bakeries.
