We popped in for lunch after a trip up the Eiffel Tower and got a table for four immediately. The restaurant had been recommended in my guide book so I expected it to be busy, and it was. There was a mix of tourists and locals, which is always a good sign.
Our waiter was good, helpful and efficient. Drinks arrived quickly despite the place being busy,
The highlight was the food, which was the best we had during our five day trip to Paris. Extremely tasty and beautifully prepared, it made a welcome change from the bland, conservative food we experienced in most other places. It was also reasonable value.
The tables were close together and it was perhaps lacking a little in ambience, but this was more than compensated by the excellent food and pleasant service.
