“Good food but weak service”
Reviewed December 17, 2012

We had lunch here today. The food was quite good - great entrecote - but the service was unfriendly and slow. A pity in a place which, otherwise, could be excellent...

“Great food and comfortable ambience”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

We also stumbled upon this shopping gallery on our way to the George Pompidou and ended up eating there on the way back to our hotel. It was a little chilly so we opted to eat inside and had a lovely table with a couch on one side and a chair on the other - very inviting after a long day. Although they had English menus, we let the waiter translate and explain the entrees for us. We both ended up with the fish stew which was in a dark sauce with pearl onions and button mushrooms. It was warming and delicious. He also recommended a nice wine to accompany the meal. There are so many bistros in Paris and I am always a bit nervous to experiment without first checking on TA but this did not disappoint. I will definitely go back on my next trip.

“Great Spot to Stop”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

We had stumbled into the Gallery Vivienne quite by accident one other visit and were impressed with the quiet oasis there. The Gallery has pretty mosaic floors and a glass covered pavilion that is worth taking a peek at. At one of the entrances to the Gallery is Bistrot Vivienne. We both had different cuts of steak and both meals were very tasty and done medium as asked. The atmosphere is very parsian and the menu has a variety of items for lighter meals as well. Service could have been a bit better, but our meal was satisfying and we will be back for a casual lunch or dinner.

“The best of everything”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

This is one of those restaurants that make you want to come back again and again. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the decor was not overdone, the service was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious, and unpretentious. Good Value and good quality.

“We loved our lunch here ...”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

We both wanted a healthy light lunch and very much enjoyed the salad choices. He chose the Italian salad and said they were the sweetest cherry tomatoes he had tasted for a long time. She chose the goats cheese salad and it was deliciously mixed with granny smith apple, grapefruit, sultanas, pine nuts. The restaurant is located in an iconic Parisian passage and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambience along with a glass of white wine each.
