The concierge recommended this restaurant...we didn't want to get in a cab and strolled there from our hotel. Even though we got there at 9:30 pm they seated us and were very polite. Brought us English menus even though we did not ask. Very old traditional brasserie, over 100 years old. So lots of ambiance...we were the only English speaking patrons in a room of French speakers, so it was not touristy at all, which we love. So late to eat so we all ordered poached fish, came in a light creamy sauce with new spring potatoes. Delicious. Dessert of fruit salad and sorbet. didn't rush us out...stayed to almost midnight.
