have reserved river cruise with service select. Had an excellent tabe for two persons direct on window side. Perfect view and good food. & wines. Staff was busy but very nice. Wonderfull view on attractions / monuments in Paris.

Think is definitely worth to spend a bit more money for table at the windows in order to enjoy the beautiful view.

Wld recommend this strongly for everybody who is looking for a romantic dinner in Paris.

We took the dinner cruise Paris Illuminations with Bateaux Parisiens in the beginning of September. The food, I would say, could be better for this price, but the setting, the atmosphere, the music and the views - it was so fantastic! A must-do for a couple looking for a romantic dinner option.

Now to the practicalities: Premiere Service is highly recommended as it provides the best view, and it's the views that matter here! We booked the Select service and were lucky to get places in Premier cabin - definitely worth it, and it also gives you more privacy as you're not squeezed at the long table with the others as in other ship sections. What was a bit disappointing: the website requires a strict dress code (no jeans) so I had to pack some appropriate clothes, but on the cruise there was a group of loud Russians in jeans, shorts, t-shirts and so forth. If there are rules, they should be enforced for everyone. Second disappointment - the waiter who was almost never there when needed - apparently he was alone for too many tables to service.

To sum up - definitely recommendable for a romantic dinner setting, less so for those expecting micheline-class haute cuisine.

no words describe what we had to go through during this horrifyning experience... the rudness of the stuff was shocking at the reception. my husband and i book a premier dinner cruise.in the internet booking was no sign infant therefore we decided to to book for two adults being sure we will be accomodated. when arrived we were not allowed to the boat, we were offered another boat which we refused as we have been coming to the one we booked for many years, there were always people complaining and fighting for their rights there by the way. the members of stuff failed to listen to anything we were saying, were very rude, did not allow us to purchase a seat for our baby 4 months, we asked to purchase another table, and the stuff also refused. they accused me of lying when i tried to explain to my husband that there is space for the baby, we asked for refund but were given some e mail to contact and were told that we will not get our refund anyway, after we decided to call to police to sort situation out the staff put us to the boat, gave us a table not in the area we booked, 4tables in the premier were empty, the manager was very rude to us saying we have to wait after we asked for some water when the people were already getting their starters. we were deeply offended by the attitude of staff.

The whole set up is very professional. A unique experience. Both food and service are very good, considering this is a moving boat with a fixed timetable. The ambience is buzzing; as good as any top land-based restaurant, with an excellent band and singers. On top of all that you have the pleasure of seeing many famous Paris landmarks as you serenely glide along the Seine.

We took the Paris Illuminations Cruise in Premier Service..they made you truly feel like a VIP! I can honestly say it was worth the extra euros for the service we received. When we got to the boat there was a line to board, but with Premier there was a separate lane- no line..straight to reception for check in and then past a 2nd line to get right on board. Once we were seated the waiter brought us a drink, as well as chilling a bottle of wine for our appetizers and dinner. However, once we ordered our main courses, a second bottle of red was brought, as it went better with the meal. (We were given an "upgrade" bottle, as they had run out of the standard. All of the drinks were included in the price, which was great, given the $$ in Paris) The meal was good and the timing was perfect, didn't feel rushed. The views from the boat were spectatular and a vocalist came to the front to sing as we passed Notre Dame, very cool. A photographer comes around to take your photo, which is conveinent if you are a couple and don't want to distrub other diners. If I had one criticism, it was that you couldn't hear the band very well from the front of the boat. One of the passengers actually proposed to his girlfriend, which was very sweet, the entire boat clapped and the waiters sent a violinist over to their table to serenade them. Overall, very romantic and memorable, awesome...when we return to Paris we will do this one again!
