Found this restaurant from a search of those near Gare de l'est metro/station where our hotel was also located. A very good choice indeed. After a short walk, we received a warm welcome after explaining my booking with my limited French! Appropriate service throughout. Utilized my own resources to translate menu but there was a least one English speaker amongst the staff. We both opted for the pork which melted in the mouth with veg and salad respectively. We forgot though that chips on a menu means for us crisps not fried chips! Lovely brioche dessert followed by a coffee. Opted for a great bottle of Chardonnay and total bill Euros 97..
