..despite all the stunning frescos inside. This is a very old church, free entry & very atmospheric alhtough compared with some quite plain in terms of monuments.

On the outside it didn't look much. And being one of the oldest churches in Paris, I was surprised it is kept well.

Right now (December 2018) the Saint-Germain-des-Pres church is partially under renovation, meaning that a section is completely hidden by plastic walls. However, the remainder is beautiful and impressive. Definitely worth a visit.

This was a beautiful church and worth a visit, despite the fact that parts of it are currently undergoing renovation and it looks like it may continue for a while. Don't let the modest exterior fool you - the interior is beautifully decorated. Definitely worth a visit, ignore the setup that is in place for the part under renovation because there are other parts to see, and go on in!

Wonderful site in Paris. However, due to reformation works, not
Much to see at this time. Antway, if one is nearby, go and have a look
