My friend and I wanted a cool way to explore Versailles, so we chose this bike tour based on other reviews. Even with momentary deluges, we still had the best time. Our guide, Stu, was incredibly knowledgable and entertaining. He took us around to his local market and advised us on food and drink to purchase for our picnic later in the day. (The crepe man in the market makes the best crepes I've had had the pleasure of eating). Riding around Versailles is the best way to cover the most ground. We saw the fountains, Marie Antoinette's hamlet (the highlight for me), the chateau and the village all in a matter of hours. We liked the tour so much that we signed up for the night tour of Paris the following evening. Once again, Stu guided us around the city regaling us with stories of the history of Paris and its many churches, streets and buildings. Since he didn't work off of a script (either day) we were free to ask him any questions we may have had, ranging from history to where to go out at night. He also tailored the tour to what we wanted to see (which ended up being the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, the Louvre and Champs Elysees). Paris is truly magical at night and I would highly recommend exploring the city after dark. I would hands down recommend both tours to anyone visiting Paris - they were informative, beautiful and fun!
