My friend and I wanted a cool way to explore Versailles, so we chose this bike tour based on other reviews. Even with momentary deluges, we still had the best time. Our guide, Stu, was incredibly knowledgable and entertaining. He took us around to his local market and advised us on food and drink to purchase for our picnic later in the day. (The crepe man in the market makes the best crepes I've had had the pleasure of eating). Riding around Versailles is the best way to cover the most ground. We saw the fountains, Marie Antoinette's hamlet (the highlight for me), the chateau and the village all in a matter of hours. We liked the tour so much that we signed up for the night tour of Paris the following evening. Once again, Stu guided us around the city regaling us with stories of the history of Paris and its many churches, streets and buildings. Since he didn't work off of a script (either day) we were free to ask him any questions we may have had, ranging from history to where to go out at night. He also tailored the tour to what we wanted to see (which ended up being the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, the Louvre and Champs Elysees). Paris is truly magical at night and I would highly recommend exploring the city after dark. I would hands down recommend both tours to anyone visiting Paris - they were informative, beautiful and fun!

We did the Paris tour with Olivie and the Versailles tour with Stu a couple of days later; both were fantastic, with knowledgeable and friendly guides. We were also given a list of recommended local restaurants and bars which we used several times and found really handy.
On bike, is a great way to explore the city and the palace. Had to talk my husband into doing the Versailles tour and he loved it, one of the best days we had on the trip. The trip to the local markets to buy wine and lunch, which we later enjoyed by the canal, was a highlight.

Fantastic way to spend 4.5 hours and only 30 euro! If possible book this for your first day and you'll benefit hugely from the city knowledge you gain. Our entertaining guide Alex was full of a plethora of weird and wonderful facts relating to some of the less obvious tourist attractions in the city, the company policy of showing you areas you may not discover for yourself is inspired. This was our favourite activity in a packed 3 day break!! Cycling was undemanding and safe. Highly recommend.

Had the best day in Paris due to the fact we were on the bike tour of Versaille with Stu. What an amazing tour guide. It is definitely a full day, however with Stu's history knowledge and fantastic humour the day went so quickly. Stu took us to the local street market to purchase our lunch and then on to all the hidden spots around Versaille. I would highly recommend this tour!
