“This will make your Paris trip!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

I have done both the Paris tour and the Versailles tour and they were both incredible experiences.

The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. You will get to see and learn things about Paris that you would never do on a big commercial tour bus.

I would especially recommend the Versailles tour if you want to experience something different than the body cram that is the château. This tour includes visiting the farmers markets (where you buy your lunch for a picnic later that day) as well as going to the Marie Antoinette's house and gardens.

The only downside was that the day wasn't long enough to fit everything in! But that can be said about any trip to Versailles - you are never going to see it all.

I cannot sing this companies praises high enough. A tour that you should definitely go on!

Pro:
-nice and very friendly American guide (Devon)
-well organized
-enthusiast and friendly , very polite and customer oriented
-enjoyable tour

Contra
- more about the rich history/ places in Paris could be told (a little superficial)
-quite expensive for families (no deduction for children)

“Lovely way to see Paris”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

Really laid back and interesting tour. It's such a good way to see Paris, I would recommend doing this at the start of a holiday to give you ideas of what you want to see.

It's also really easy to cycle in Paris, great cycle paths, very flat and the rain even stopped for us.

“Easy, fun, an interesting way to see the main sights and hidden gems of Paris”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

My partner and I took a tour with Amber on a slightly drizzly Saturday morning. We were a little hesitant abou the rain initially but we were given great colourful ponchos that we ended up not needing anyway since the weather quickly cleared. Amber was a very relatable, knowledgable and humorous guide who seemed very familiar with the city and eager to show all kinds of hidden secrets. The bikes were very comfortable and easy to ride and the streets of paris are very well set up for cycling so we felt very safe. I was especially grateful for the list of recommendations they gave us at the end of the tour - we were only in the city for a few days so it was great to get some local tips. I would recommend others to take the tour at the beginning of their stay as there were many areas we returned to and many tips we put to good use.
Thanks guys!

“Best possible introduction to Paris”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

We (family of four) took a Bike About Paris tour on the first morning of our 8 night stay in Paris back in October 2009, and it was an excellent introduction to the city. The guide (one of the owners) clearly loves his adopted city, and gave us a great "behind the scenes" tour that incorporated secret corners, unusual stores (e.g., the "rat store" from Ratatouille) and other places that you might not find on your own. It was an awesome start to our visit, and really helped us hone in on what we wanted to see on our own. I recommend this to all of my friends visiting Paris.
