This was a last minute booking for a sightseeing trip to Paris. The hotel was basic but very clean and staff helpful and friendly. Ideal central location for sightseeing, we walked to all the attractions and shopping areas. Plenty of places to eat in the same street and local area. Very good shower and plenty of hot water although the decoration was a bit tired. We had a room at the front of the hotel and found it quiet during the night. A clean cheap place to rest your head.

I stayed at Hotel Bellevue for 3 nights with a friend of mine. We went to Paris primarily for shopping and sightseeing, so this little modest hotel met our needs well. Located just across Gare Saint-Lazare, the hotel is in walking distance to the Grand Magasins (the great department stores) Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. We stayed at no. 46, on the top floor. The room was small, but satisfactory for spending the night. The neighborhood is lively, but not noisy. There are a couple of nice cafés around for breakfast. We also discovered a little restaurant which serves finger licking good moul frite only for 9 Euros (Brulerie Coumartin, 71, rue de Caumartin, just across Monoprix) - totally recommended!

The worst hotel ever. Spent 3 weeks travelling through France and Spain and this was horrible. Had reserved for two nights and after the first few hours began searching for another hotel. Checked out the next morning after 2 hours sleep and they charged us for two nights stay. Horrilbe neighbourhood, horrible hotel. You can find a much nicer hotel for the same price. Paris is for lovers, not to spend your stay in a dump like this.

Stayed here on 31st May 2010 for one night. After scouring Paris for the hotel I was meant to stay in I gave up searching after 2 hours of walking and found this hotel. And it was the best choice I made. The hotel is very peaceful although its on a busy corner but the soundproof rooms are a blessing. The room was clean, and staff were very friendly and met my needs. I didnt have an ensuite but there were 2 showers and wc in the hallway so it wasn't all that bad.
If your'e looking a comfortable stay in Paris and don't want to break your budget then this is hotel for you. You have everything close by, and are very close to all the main attractions in Paris. The metro St Lazare is a stones throw away, and opposite the hotel there is a starbucks, close by are several restuarants, bars and shops...

We were recommended this hotel by a work colleague and found it met our needs quite nicely. Attempting to save a buck in Paris is a difficult task but the Hotel Bellevue helped us accomplish that. The hotel was clean and well cared for, we didn't choose the breakfast option so I can't comment on that. The room was a good size for the 2 of us, the bed was fairly comfortable and there was a small room safe available to use. Hotel Bellevue has a pretty decent location, Gare St. Lazare is nearby where you can catch the Metro, RER etc. and there are several restaurants, patisseries, clothing and grocery stores close by as well. On top of all that, we got free wi-fi in our room which was an added bonus that we were not expecting. Not luxury accommodations by any means but if you are looking for an inexpensive, clean, safe hotel near public transport, then I would recommend this hotel to you.

I first stayed here in 1989, and have been back numerous times. It is one of the best valued places in the area for what you pay.
Centrally located, metro stop across the street and walking distance of champ Elysees.

Lots of small patisseries and shops to buy food nearby.

Stayed 2 nights in June 08 and liked the central location, near Shops, bars, Train Station and restaurants.
Ask for double room with toilets and shower on upper floor. Room 14 or 21 are good.
Family owned hotel in Paris since years I think which is rare nowadays...
Good choice and cheap one.

  • Liked — Good central and cheap hotel for Paris
  • Disliked — No non-smoking room policy
