Great smaller hotel, stayed in an executive room. Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Location couldn't be better, walking distance to many attractions and great restaurants. Gare St. Lazare a 2 minute walk from hotel.

Of course, I expect a Parisian hotel near L'Opera to be tight on space, but the execution of the room could have been better. I couldn't open the closet easily because of the end table in the way. Putting the beds against a different wall would have made an enormous difference.

That said, the place was beautiful, very clean, boasts an exceptionally friendly staff, and is within walking distance of some fantastic shopping.

Dear Madame, Dear Sir,

We thank you for having taken the time to leave a feedback on Tripadvisor.

All our rooms are arranged differently, depending on the floor and the location, we will be very happy to show you how they are organized during your next stay in Paris.

Villathena is a small compact boutique hotel within a short walking distance away from Gare St. Lazare, the Opera, the Madeleine, Gallery Lafayette and the Printemps. The lobby and the breakfast area are rather small but the staffs are all helpful and speak good English. They were able to provide maps and directions. WIFI is available for free in all areas in the hotel. There is one decent sized lift that services the entire hotel.

The classic rooms are really really small but they are all clean and well and tastefully furnished. The bathrooms, again, are also very small and one could hardly stretch the arms in the shower at all. There is no coffee and tea facilities in the room, but oddly, there is a kitchen sink in the rooom. The room comes with a bunch of toiletries, satellite telly and a bed that gives you a sinking feeling.

The location is great but the rooms are just too small for the price paid and the hotel may need some upgrading work with new firm beds before it loses its charms soon.

Room Tip: Avoid the ground floor and the basement rooms as you might hear the conversations in the lobby and t...

We liked to stay here for the weekend, the staff is very friendly and helpful - bravo!

I can recommend this hotel to anyone who likes the area of bvd Hausmann, Galeries Lafayette and Opera. It isn't far away either from Madeleine.

The breakfast is expensive (17€). If I was the boss of this hotel, I'd raise the price of a room with the cost of a breakfast (incl. a small profit %) rather than asking 17€ for a basic breakfast.

The bed in our room felt a bit like a pit.

I can recommend the Indian restaurant "Nirvana' nearby.

Strange; the room prices indicated at the entrance of the hotel were double of what we've paid.

Dear guest,

We kindly thank you for taking some time to review about the Villathéna.

It's a real pleasure to read that you enjoyed your stay.

Indeed we have the chance to be very well located, very close from this attractive area of Paris.

About the breakfast, on our website, you can book special deals with breakfast included.
We also propose Continental breakfast served as room service for 12 euros only, another important point, we prefer serving products of very good quality for our guest, for example, we order our pastries from a famous French recipe Lenôtre.

Regarding the room prices indicated at the entrance, it's the public rate and we're making promotional offer all along the year.

We look forward to welcome you again,

Best regards,

It was a very pleasant stay!
Our room was at the second floor so it wasn't too noisy. The room isn't smaller than any other hotel room in Paris. The sheets were clean .
The wi-fi signal was indeed very weak at times but i heard they solved the problem.
And the breakfast was all you need : a basketfull of croisants lots of coffee or tea juice and butter all fresh. I will definetly come back here.

Dear Sir,

It’s a real pleasure to read you. Thanks you for letting us know your feedback.

We recently made few changes about the breakfast and we happy that you’ve enjoyed it. That’s why it’s very important for us to know what our guests think in order to improve ourselves every time.

About the wifi signal, we just set up a more powerful antenna to deliver the best possible signal. It is now present and reliable in the entire hotel.

We really hope to see you soon at the Villathena.

Best regards,

The management

Stayed in Villathena earlier this year. Nice boutique hotel, which is centrally located, walking distance to subway and nearby Galeries Lafayette and Printemps for shopping.

Rooms are small (as expected) and modern. Same is the bathroom. I'd rather trade size for nicer, modern rooms with working facilities. Free Wifi is a good addition.

Great for those who plan to holiday in Paris!

Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

We thank you for having taken the time to leave a feedback on Tripadvisor.

Indeed we have the chance to be very well located, only a few minutes far from some of the most popular attraction of Paris.

For your next trip to Villathéna *** we recommend you to book a superior room (Deluxe or Executive) which is more spacious, about 20 square meters for the deluxe room and 25 square meters for the executive room.

We look forward to having the chance to see you again very soon.

Sincerely,

The management

This hotel is very suitably situated near the Saint-Lazarre station which makes travelling very easy, it is also around 10minutes from Moulin Rouge and the Champ Elysees is around 10minutes by metro. The staff is very very helpful and very proficient in English and other languages. We highly recommend this hotel.

A special thanks goes to the management since we were supposed to stay in Villathena 2 but due to some repair works they gave us a room in the Hotel Villathena and were very helpful.

Room Tip: We stayed on the fourth floor, 403 classic double room, which was very quiet and suitable for us. Th...
