Hotel Les Jardins de la Villa & Spa

We found this small property on TripAdvisor in the "Romantic hotels" section and it was the perfect choice for our first trip to Paris. We wanted to stay someplace away from the summer crowds but still convenient to the major attractions. Les Jardins is located just one block from a metro station and the best way to reach the trains was to cut through the L'Atrium du Palais which has a great selection of shops. The neighborhood around the hotel has plenty of restaurants, cafes and markets which we also enjoyed during our stay.
The staff at Les Jardins de la Villa were absolutely wonderful and sooo patient with our limited French vocabulary. Pierre-Luc was particularly welcoming to us after a long overnight flight from the US and was able to check us into our room much earlier than we expected (Thank you!). He was also on duty when we left and gave us great recommendations for the next part of our trip (to the Burgandy wine country).
We had room #21 (Chambre Deluxe) and thought it was quite spacious for a city hotel. There was plenty of room for one large suitcase, a wardrobe for hang-up items, and a small desk for papers, phone, etc. There was not a lot of drawers but plenty of little shelves next to the mini-bar and (Wonderful) Nespresso machine. This room has a small balcony (as requested with our reservation) which did not have a great view, but was just right for sitting outside with our morning coffee.
The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was amazingly quiet. We saw other guests on our floor, but never heard them or any sounds from the neighboring buildings. I can't remember the last time I slept so well in a hotel room (especially in a large city).
The bathroom was also quite large with great lighting and lots of shelves for toiletries. Our room did not have a bathtub but the shower was fabulous with a powerful "wand", a large "rain shower" head and lots of hot water. The towels were new and fluffy and stored on a heated rack.
Even the lighting in the room was more than we expected with individual reading lights on each side of the bed and switches that controlled the whole room from beside the bed.
If there is even a small negative comment to make, it would be the breakfast which we thought was a bit pricey at $22 Euros for the full buffet. This also could be our fault since we came down quite late on a busy Saturday morning. The pastries were wonderful and the orange juice was definitely fresh-squeezed. (There is a gourmet market in the plaza across the street so we stopped there and got breakfast items for the rest of our stay).
We realize that this is a very long review but we cannot say enough about this wonderful "find" that was our home for 4 days in a large city. We will definitely be back and will recommend this property to any of our friends who are lucky enough to visit Paris.

My husband and I stayed at this charming boutique hotel in the first week of August for four nights. It was a comfortable and modern hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel's location is conveniently located to most of the the major attractions and we used the well organized Paris metro system to get to our destinations. The hotel itself is officially rated a four star property and the rooms, amenities and service match this rating. The rooms are small by Canadian standards but typical for Paris. The beds and bedding were comfortable, the bathroom was equipped with luxury bath products and the rooms are sound proofed for a good night's sleep. We especially enjoyed using the steam room and sauna after a long day of sightseeing! We also enjoyed the gourmet breakfast in the beautifully decorated library. Special mention goes to the concierge Pierre Luc who was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations, as well as other information about attractions. Highlights of our trip included two guided tours to Montmartre and the Latin Quarter.

Helpful hint: You can leave a few euros or change for good restaurant service but you don't have to leave extra gratuity (meaning 10-20%) at restaurants and this is already included in your total bill. We spent an extra 100 euros because we didn't know!

Stayed here for 3 nights from 9th August with my boyfriend. We took a taxi from Gare du Nord (as the queue for Metro tickets was huge - buy in advance!) which cost 30 euros. Hotel is small and funky and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfy and the room was lovely and clean but quite small. Location is good, it's not right in the centre but Porte Maillot metro stop is a 3 min walk away and the Arc de Triomphe and start of the Champs Elysees is a 10-15 min walk, where you can get the hop-on-hop-off bus. Hotel breakfast was 22 euros so we didnt try this but found a patisserie on the walk to Arc de Triomphe with delicious croissants for under 2 euros so there are cheaper options around! Overall, it's a nice hotel and ideal for couples on a short break.

My husband & I stayed at this fabulous hotel for 3 nights in early August and would highly recommend it to any travellers to Paris. The location is brilliant, close to the metro and all the sights. The rooms are very well appointed and large by Paris standards and the breakfast is superb. The other highlight was the very friendly and helpful staff particularly Stephane who is a true professional with a lovely sense of humour. We would not stay anywhere else now when we come back to Paris.

My husband and I spend 2 night in hotel Les Jardins de la Villa. Our first impression when we walked in to the hotel was WOW, this place is fabulous! When we arrived they informed us they upgraded our room. A special thanks to all the staff members at this hotel. Every single person was so warm and at your service for any request made. Especially the concierge Pierre-Luc, who went above and beyond to ensure our every request was met. He helped book our tourssightseeing. We had a problem with our transfer from the airport which he personally dealt with and provided us with alternative transportation, which was a much better deal. He also sent us outlets to charge our phones/cameras. Even though this hotel was a 4 star, the service would probably be equivalent to the Four Seasons. Stephane and Luc, the front desk staff members were helpful with recommendations to restaurants, directions to places in Paris. Front desk even printed out our boarding passes for our flights at not charge, which was so helpful! Also the waitress in breakfast area was so kind and happy to serve us. The hotel itself was so beautiful, very modern decor and facilities. The beds were very comfortable, room was spacious as well as the bathroom. I would recommend it to my family and definitely plan on staying there again. This is a great place for couples.

Room Tip: Tell them if you are there for a special occasion and they'll upgrade your room!

Really lovely hotel, great situation close to the metro, fab restaurants round the corner. Walking distance to most of the attractions.
The hotel itself was beautiful and spotless, the hotel staff were fabulous, friendly and funny.
Our room was compact but wasn't an issue, lovely decoration and great bathroom. The only slight issue I had was wasn't enough storage as no drawers to put clothes in just a wardrobe - but I had packed lots and we were staying 6 days rather than just a weekend.
Room was cleaned everyday and towels and toiletries replenished even have Chocs on pillow each night :)
Would totally recommend.
