We liked this place. We stayed for a week in early October. I don't think you would find a significantly better hotel at this price range. The rooms are tight and if you have more than 2 standard size suitcases, you will not fit. But it had a little closet where we could tuck everything away. The bathroom is perfectly functional and the shower was large enough with good water pressure. I usually find that to be the biggest unknown when travelling in Europe.
The staff is very nice. We did not eat at the hotel and I would not recommend paying extra for the breakfast. It seemed overpriced and there is no need for it.
The reason to stay here is the LOCATION. It is perfect-so close to great shopping, the metro, good restaurants, the river. Head over to the little cafes around Place des Vosges for some good meals.

Room Tip: We had a room on the end in the front. It had a little balcony that was great for airing out the room. But we live in a busy city where we are accustomed to street noise. This could bother people who are not used to the street cleaner at 6am.

Stayed in this hotel weekend of the 8th,9th & 10th of March. We only used this hotel as our base because of its ideal location to most of the city sites, so I can not comment on the food. The rooms are farily compact but well maintained the staff are fantastic nothing was a problem to them and our needs were looked after at all times. I would highly reccommend this hotel as a base for seeing the wonderful sites that Paris has to offer.

Don't get me wrong...the neighbourhood is great! Lots to wander around and see. Easy access to two metro stops. Great. The hotel itself however...not so great. We were prepared for a tiny room. That seems standard for Paris. However the beds were terrible. It wasn't all that clean. There was a huge leak in the bathroom that flooded the floor on a daily basis and no one seemed concerned about fixing it. The frontdesk staff ranged from indifferent to mildy rude. Just not good enough for the money. I think a bit more research could lead to a much nicer place that's still in the same lovely Marais neighbourhood.

Stayed here between Xmas and NY. Ideal location to tour Paris. Close to Metro and Marais District in which hotel is located is a great area - lots to do and see and plenty of great restaurants and bars. Hotel staff friendly and very helpful and all spoke good English.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was much nicer than I had expected. The rooms decor was pleasant and its overall size as far as European standards are concerned we more than adequate. The staff were extremely friendly and more than welcoming. It's location is also right in the heart of the Le Marais which is a trendy and gay friendly area. It was only about a 10-15 minute walk to almost everything in the district. I would easily stay here again! Cheers!
