The hotel rooms was certainly with no doubt wonderful! We spent 4 nights in Paris for our honeymoon at Seven Hotel. We chose the levitation, despite being a really small room, the colors and design created a lovely ambience. Yet, a very important note is the service which I consider terrible.. My husband tried to surprise me with rose petals on the bed but they never replied to his email and surprisingly the cleaner has a rose petal box in her cleaning chariot. That's no big deal but waiting at midnight for 10 mins for someone to open the hotel doors for us to enter after a 3 hour train ride was unacceptable!! You can barely see someone at the reception area, the morning breakfast was nice but we had to call twice to have our complete order delivered.. On our 3rd day we decided to take an excursion trip to Mont Saint Michel so while we were exiting the hotel with one small bag the receptionist ran outside to the taxi to ask us if we were coming back which we considered strange, weird, and rude!!! especially that we booked 4 nights at the hotels even though we weren't going to sleep there that night! In all, staff is rude, need more training with customer service. As for the distance, it is far from Paris's heart and the metro is a 15 min walk so not really convenient in extreme weathers! My advice, don't get fooled by its decor because they turned that beauty into one of the worst hotel experiences ever!

The room was very small (we stayed at another hotel in Paris for the same price with and the room was much bigger). We didn't spend a lot of time in the room so it wasn't a big deal that it was so small. For relaxing and sleeping it was perfect. The room was very unique with cool lights and stars on the ceiling that light up! The shower is all glass and behind the bed which was great for us (couple, no kids) but if you need privacy it wouldn't be a good place to stay. The location of the hotel isn't too close to the main tourist attractions but the metro station was a short walk and getting a taxi is very easy in Paris. The staff was friendly and helpful.

First - the picture is accurate! Many times I visit a hotel and see that they photo-shopped or took a shot from who knows where with a wide angle lens of the room before anyone ever slept there. Well, this is exactly what it shows - we stayed in the above the stars room and it is ever bit the funky, low-lit, mood-enticing escape you would think. Separate sinks are book-ends to the see-through shower...and each bath area has ample supply of L'Occitane products. The bed is "floating", super comfortable with great, clean and fresh linens and a perfectly size TV. The room is small but by Paris standards was just fine considering you spend so little time in it. Our room was near the street and we found very little noise and slept just fine.

We walked everywhere but a highlight was the wine store up the street - they have vintages and will prepare you a plate of cheese, meat, bread while you savour one of their recommended bottles.

All in all a real treat and would definitely recommend if you like this particular quarter.

This hotel is truly unique in the rooms that it offers. The rooms are quirky but in a very good way!

I stayed in the levitation suite and it really does have the wow factor.

Yes the rooms are small.

Yes the rooms are immaculately clean.

The clear shower doors are definately alternative!

The inclusion of the nespresso machine is a very nice touch.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating for holding luggage for us and welcoming us.

It is set in a nice area with some lovely local deli's and restaurants.

I would definitely stay here again.

Just recently returned from Hotel 7 and had an amazing time. Wasn't quite sure what to expect as there are some negative reviews, I suppose there is no pleasing some people.

Great small boutique hotel, very clean, staff very friendly and polite. The rooms really fun and quirky. Yes they're a bit small but we weren't expecting a suite!

We had one of the elevation rooms, the bed was so comfortable as were the pillows. Lovely bathroom products, dressing gown, nespresso machine(re-stocked daily) and balcony for those of you not scared of heights. Rooms were cleaned every day.

You need to allow about an hour from GDG airport, get off at Port Royal station, turn left outside the station and I think it's the 2nd/3ird left (go past the hospital and garage) 10 mins tops.

The area was quiet but only a 10 min walk to Rue St Michel and Luxembourg park - take a left outside the hotel, left again, right onto rue Gay lussac and carry on until you get to Rue St Michel, around here you'll find the Sorbonne, the Pantheon and Rue St Germain all within about 5/10 min walk - ideal.

There are plenty of restaurants in the area, but our favourite was a small brasserie at the end of Rue Gay Lussac on the left hand side. Lovely food and the staff were so friendly. We made friends with quite a few of the locals here and will definitely return. Around the corner from here you'll find a bus stop, 2 euros to most of the touristy areas.

We went to this hotel because the rooms looked so good on the website and we were not disappointed. We stayed in levitation on the roof or something like that the room was really clean. Iv heard some people saying the location isn't great but I disagree. If you know how to use the metro system (easy a5 year old could work it out) then it's no problem and 5 mins away from Norte dam in a taxi. If your trying to impress a lady it's the perfect place to go. I booked 14 hours before I arrived and got a very good late deal direct from hotel.

Room Tip: Book a day before you go for best deal
