Located near metro Anvers at Montmartre it's typical 2* hotel without any expectation for such price. Staff at reception more or less speak English. Damp smell in the rooms and rather old furniture. Small lift, but its typical for cheap european hotels. Daily cleaning of the room. Our family stayed at room 25 at 4th floor and we have nice view on Basilique du Sacré Coeur and the top of Tour Eiffel.
Breakfast at reception hall with coffee, cheese, jam, juice and really tasty croissant - frugal and unpretentious. Small and nice shop with cheese, fruits and wines, open until midnight and located round the left corner at Rue de Dunkerque. If you like delights - cross the street (Boulelevard de Rochechouart) and go to small street on the left hand (Rue Briquet). You can find there two small stores: Delicious macaroons and chocolates at Maison George Larnicol (its tasty than more famous and expensive Laduree IMHO) and tasty cookies and chocolates at La Cure Gourmande. I'd recommend this hotel for short staying just to have a bed at good location in Paris.
