This hotel was perfect for our 3 night stay in Paris.
Lets make it simple

Great service
Lovely building
Super Location
Breakfast was good, not outstanding, but good (dodgy looking scrambled egg though)
Good sized bedroom, comfortable and lovely view of the courtyard fountain
Right next to a metro station, great for getting around
Lots of lovely cafes, bars and restaurants near by

We loved it!

My only complaints are:
the bath looked a bit grubby (although my boyfriend says it was fine and I was just being picky)
Air con was a bit rattily when on full, but it was cool enough using the lower settings.

I stayed in this hotel in Sept, 2012. This hotel has one of the most important qualities - rooms facing inner courtyard therefore you can get good night sleep there. Location is perfect, near metro, small shops, bakeries. Safe place to stay for women traveling allone.

well, it has a great location good rates and a peacful environment but the worst "french" air conditioning system:: its sounds and looks like one but its useless really useless, so if you stay there, choose a cool month.the bar is dreadfully empty.

Great location, nice and quiet with two metro stations within a 5 minute walk. The rooms were clean and tidy, the hotel foyer was large and inviting and the breakfast was great. There are two courtyards front and back which were absolutely lovely.
On the negative side i was less than impressed with hotel maintenance in some aspects. Of particular note were the electronic door locks , the air conditioning system which struggled to cool the room, the intermittent internet in both our rooms and a particularly bad smell as you entered room 117. We stayed 5 nights and every day without fail after being out for the day we would have to replace the key card,(very frustrating, especially when one of the front office staff insisted the cards were fine and that it was the way i was using them!) On that note, two of the front office staff were friendly and helpful, and two were not very friendly at all. I also had to remind the cleaning staff that the "do not disturb" sign means exactly that as they tried to enter the room several times over the 5 days when the sign was up. Overall we had an average to good stay at this hotel and it was certainly good value for money considering the location.

I stayed here for a business trip; the room was quite small (which is usual for Paris), but clean, quiet, and with free internet (the hotel is situated in a back court), so this was great. The hotel seems to have a serious problem with the breakfast and its service (I know people tend to say breakfast is not so important in France, but this is not really true) - the choice was very restricted, the eggs were "inmangeable" (not to eat), the scramble eggs were more like soup (probably not freshly made) then the result of real eggs in a pan. I asked kindly if I could have an "oeuf à la coque" (in my mothertongue French), and I got a harsh and unfriendly reply by the woman doing the service telling me this wasn't possible (for ca. 100 Euro/night, a quite astonishing thing!).
I did tell the reception about my breakfast experience when I checked out, but they only took note of my remark quite helplessly - I'm not quite sure they were really concerned or wanting to change anything.

On business trip, I stayed at this hotel.

The good:
Free WiFi, even in the room (5th floor). quiet place, even though very close to Montparnasse

The not so good.
very poor breakfast. The croissants and pains au chocolat are rather bland. No sausages, just to poor scrambled eggs, questionable bacon and hashbrowns. Bread is ok though (brown rolls and baguette). You also can get some cereals (1 type), yoghurt, juice, italian salami or ham, emental. That's it.
The room itself lacks power sockets (not even a free socket at the desk, I had to disconnect the TV) and none beside the bed either to my phone which was also my alarm was rather far. No snoozing (I know...)

And not sure whether it's a good or bad thing, but the toilets are not in the bathroom, they're in a separate "room".

Room Tip: get your free WiFi sheet with the access codes as you check in at reception. Valid for 2 days for 1...

This was our second stay at this hotel. The first was five years ago, when the kids were small enough to fit into one of the hotel's family bunk bed rooms (great value). This time around we had to book two roooms for the four of us. As before, we found the staff very friendly. The decor was dated but the beds were comfy and the rooms clean. It is a great quiet and central location, close to buses and two metro lines, and five minutes walk from Gare Montparnasse. We recommend it to families visiting Paris.
