We met outside the market (evidently it was the first day it was open as it shuts down for a period in August), our chef took us around to the various stalls and gave us several options. We voted as a group on our menu, then back to the kitchen to cook. Hands on with good instruction. The French chef (sorry I forgot his name) was in charge of famous French cooking TV show for years, and knows Paris inside and out and all of the fabulous chefs around. Learned several good tips, got some good recipes (he didn't leave any secret ingredients out like so many cooking classes where they "finish it up for you"). Then we all sat down for a delicious slow 4 course meal, enjoyed talking with so many others of their trip and the chef. He then gave us a map and placed his favorite places on it. So glad we did this early in our trip!
