What a great way to spend a day!! Our guide Kit, is a fabulous man and his passion for Art and Impressionism is refreshing along with his knowledge! The train ride was great and then upon arrival, a short stroll to get the bikes. It is a whatever the weather is, the tour goes on, which is fabulous really, you will dry out if it's raining, so suck it up princess and enjoy the adventure!! When else would you be doing this?? Yes it rained for a fair chunk of our tour, but the sun did come out, and the "lighting" changes we saw and experienced is truly what the impressionists loved and captured. The markets to buy your picnic goods was fun. Monet's Garden is a treasure of a memory that I shall keep for ever!

My husband and I had pre-booked the Paris Day Tour on bike, and were a little nervous when the day came around and it was a little chilly and pretty rainy. We reluctantly showed up to the meeting point, to be greeted by Kelsey. She had a big smile on her face, and instantly started to chatting with us about where we were from, how long we were in town, etc. She was great! As we continued talking, we shared our concerns about a bike ride in the weather, and she said that there would be a possibility to reschedule our tour to another day if we would like. At that same time another couple our age showed up for the tour. After talking with everyone for a few minutes, we decided that would take on the challenge of a tour in the rain, since there were only 4 of us.

After a short walk to the Fat Tire office, we picked our bikes and met our tour guide, Andre. During this time, there were multiple other employees in the office who were also super friendly and accommodating. They offered us a place to store our bags and purses due to the rain, a free Wash Closet, rain ponchos, etc. The bikes that we were set up with were all cruiser bikes, and were incredibly comfortable. They even made sure to adjust everything on each to make the bikes "fit" everyone well.

As we all jumped on our bikes to head out, Andre went over a few signals and tips for riding in Paris. He gave us the information, all while keeping it entertaining. His fun, relaxed attitude continued throughout the entire tour. The information was great, but his delivery kept it fresh and relevant; rather than something that would just be read from a history book.

Just over halfway through the tour, we stopped at a small garden cafe near the Louvre, and had a great cup of hot chocolate and crepes. This was a great break, in a great spot.

When the tour had wrapped up, we headed back to the Fat Tire Office. There Andre gave each couple a map, and drew out the route that we had taken around the city. Additionally, he provided us with restaurant recommendations, market times and locations, and helped us to find a grocery store to pick up a few items.

All in all, this was our favorite experience in Paris, thanks to Fat Tire and their AMAZING team!

We started out with the night bike tour of Paris and had such a great time that we joined the day bike tour the next morning and then did the easy pass tour of the Musee d'Orsay and the Louvre and because that was not enough we signed up for the bike tour of Versaille. Each tour was a treat and showcased the wonders of Paris. The night tour was a great start, helped us survive our jet lag as we wandered the streets of Paris for almost 5 hours on a bike, save for the beautiful River Seine cruise with a lovely Bordeaux and the sparkling Eiffel Tower in the forefront. The day tour was a bit more subdued, new neighborhoods and new sights, more in depth history and provided the spark for how we would spend the upcoming week. The Easy Pass Tours were just enough to get us started on the great museums of Paris. The highlight was Versialle, an informative train ride, adventure on the bikes, a wonderful market, great coffee, a tour of the vast gardens, a picnic on the grand canal with our new found friends and then the palace is a showstopper, also a bit crowded. Our time spent with Fat Tire was a blast, each tour is well designed, fun, energetic and the guides gave us great tips. If you do anything in Paris, do it on a bike with fat Tire. Fat Tire will be a part of our next trip as well. Thank you.

This was definately a highlight of my trip to Paris. When I first booked this I thought gee how am I going to ride a bike around a big city like Paris, but was easy. We did the night bike tour and had so much fun. Paris is definately beautiful at night. We went to the louvre the love lock bridge, notre dame and many more and the tour also included a cruise on the river seine (which was a bit chilli but worth it). I would definately do this again and may be try the day tour as well.

What a fantastic experience we had on our Segway tour of Paris. I was with a party of four and it was our first full day in Europe and what an introduction, whoa.
Our guide, Preston, was wonderful, we were a bit anxious initially but Preston was wonderfully patient and within no time we were all experts (at least we thought so)
Preston was a great guide and the tour covered a huge area of Paris that we wouldn't have been able to cover in our short time there. We all loved every minute of it and recall it with great memories.
