“Would Stay at the Eiffel Seine Again!”
Reviewed August 11, 2010

My family and I recently stayed at the Eiffel Seine. It is a very clean, comfortable and quiet hotel in an excellent location. The Bir Hakiem Metro stop is directly across the street and there is also an RER line across the street that will take you directly to Versailles if that attraction is on your list of sites to see. The Eiffel Seine is about a 4 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower which is advantageous if you plan to go to the tower early to avoid long lines to go to the top of the tower.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our son (age 10) and the hotel was a very good choice because a triple room was available at a very affordable rate. The hotel also offers free wireless Internet service.

Our criticisms of the hotel are very minor. One, there is not a full service restaurant on site. However, the hotel does have breakfast room and there are numerous restaurants along the block in which the hotel is located. Two, the elevator is very tiny. I imagine that people traveling with lots of luggage may have to make more than one "luggage run" on the elevator.

Overall, the Eiffel Seine provides excellent value for the money. The location can't be beat. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent and the staff are first rate. We would stay at the Eiffel Seine again.

What a wonderfull experience! This hotel is perfectly situated, close to the Eiffel Tower and all transport! Although it is opposite the Bir Hakiem station, it is not noisy at all! Close to hop-on-hop-off transport! Just around the corner is the RER line which we took to visit Versaille! We could also get to all other attractions from here without any problems (including Disney, Moulin Rouge, etc). Ask the staff they are very friendly and more than willing to help!
The hotel is beautifully decorated! The rooms are small, but very clean and tastefully decorated!!!!
You do not want more than this!

Only three blocks from the Eiffel Tower and close to all transport services (including hop-on-hop-off buses and river Seine cruises) make this 3 star hotel deserve a higher rating. Concierge service was superb and free internet a nice bonus. 3 alternative priced breakfast menus let you select what you want. Rooms are tiny but immaculate. AC helps.

I was aware after reviewing comments that the hotel room sizes were smaller than Americans are accustomed to, but that said, my windows opened to a dynamic view and to the sounds of a busy Paris. Everything was not too big, not too small- just right to meet my expectations. The bathroom was sparkling clean, the water temperature was perfect and the morning breakfast cheeses and breads were extraordinary compared to the typical continental we consume in the states. My favorite aspect of the hotel on a human level was Adriana at the Front Desk. She was exceptionally courteous and patient with all of my sight seeing requests and in each occasion her directions were magnificent. Now for the best part about the hotel - it was literally 3 to 5 minutes walking distance to the base of the Eiffel Tower and to the subway as well as the train in each direction. It could not have made my maiden adventure to Paris easier to navigate. I strongly recommend the Eiffel Seine Hotel Paris and I intend to stay there again.

The hotel is a well presented hotel. The room decor is quite fancy and pleasing to the eye. The hotel is conveniently located across the road from Bir Hakiem metro station and has three italian restraunts right next door - one of which opens early everyday for breakfast. The breakfast at the hotel is fine although like all breakfasts in hotels in Paris is quite expensive - recommend that you go next door.

Initially we stayed in a triple room and upon our return later a quadrupled room which was basically two twin rooms joined together. For any couple or family of three I would recommend that you book the triple room, which is ample room for a couple and adequate for 3 people. We also got tea/coffee making facilities in the triple which we did not get in the quad/twin rooms.

Overall a very good hotel with helpful staff and an ideal location.

Oh by the way, the Eiffel Tower is only a short walk around the corner. At 10pm they turn on the flashing lights for about 5-minutes, it looks lovely when they do this. So its handy having the hotel nearby late at night.

We stayed there over 30th-31st July as a family of three. The location is unparalled-right outside Bir-Hakeim Metro stop(Line 6). RER stop is very near too. Eiffel tower is just round the corner and loads of eating places outside and nearby at a walking distance, including a Carrefour supermarket. We managed to find an Indian restaurant-Tajmahal (turn left on Bld. de Grenelle, walk for about 5-6 minutes, turn left on Rue Humblot). Good food, reasonably priced.
The hotel though being just outside the metro, and on a busy road, had no disturbance at all. We found the staff at the reception very courteous and helpful. We had arrived early, but were able to leave our bags and get out and about. The hotel room (triple room) on the ground floor was brilliant. The verandah outside our room had lovely plants and we could sit and relax and have tea there. Our room for three was quite spacious. Tastefully done, with impressive decor. Clean sheets, comfortable beds and really soft pillows. Bathroom was squeaky clean. The room, surprisingly for European hotels, had tea making facilities as well.
Loved the place, and would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Eiffel Seine, and we were very pleased with the value for the money. As someone who researched prices, read reviews, and studied the area before booking, I'm very satisfied with my decision.
The location of this hotel is fantastic, in that it's close to the Eiffel Tower (very handy for orienting you in an unfamiliar city), across the street from the metro (a huge relief after a long day of walking), and by some convenient businesses (grocery store, pharmacy, inexpensive cafes, souvenir stores.) However, be aware that the Eiffel Tower is no where near central Paris, so you can have some long metro rides to get to places such as Sacre Coeur and the Latin Quarter. This wasn't a big deal for us, but it's something to note.
It was wonderful having an English-speaking staff on hand, though I wouldn't say they were overly friendly. This is probably a cultural difference, and I can't say they were anything other than professional and knowledgeable.
People aren't exaggerating when they say these hotel rooms are very small, but we managed with some awkward balancing of our luggage. Having a refrigerator, air conditioning, and a balcony were well worth the minor inconveniences.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I myself plan on staying there my next time in the City of Lights!
