Second time staying at hotel, the location was great for us across from metro ( may not appeal to some) ask for back rooms. We love the location two blocks from Eiffel tower, restaurants nearby within minutes, small markets, larger markets, everything you could need or want within a few blocks. When we arrived elevator(lift) was broken, we had to walk up six flights, hotel had person to carry bags, later I asked if the room could be changed and it was the next morning. We ate breakfast in hotel and bags were delivered to new room, for us this hotel is perfect !

Room Tip: Request back rooms if the sounds of Paris are a concern

We stayed 3 night here in early September. The hotel was booked via Eurostar.
Arriving at Gare Nord it was an easy one change 20 minute trip via Metro and RER to the hotel. Situated directly opposite the metro station Bir Hakeim and directly around the corner from the Tour Eiffel RER station it is easy to get to all the areas of Paris you could wish. Though it is just as easy to walk to many as the location is so central. If staying for a few days consider using the 'Batobus' river taxi. It is a much more leisurely way of getting to sights along the Seine and a chance to put your feet up for 30 mins at a time.
The Hotel and room was spotless, the staff were efficient and helpful.
We had a room on the top floor at the rear, it was of course small. But anyone going to central Paris needs to be aware that Hotels such as these in older buildings will have very small rooms. If you want more space use a larger modern hotel and sacrifice the character of a place such as this. A room is for sleeping in, this is Paris, there is far too much to do and see to be stuck in a room!
The elevator was small but effective to all floors.
The room was very quiet, though with no view, but again, we expected that.
The en-suite facilities were very clean and efficient.
Breakfast was very good, on the face of it, it might seem expensive compared to local bars, well if a coffee and one croissant are all you need then fine, but the large array of fruit, pastries, cereal, eggs, bacon sausages etc laid out for the buffet certainly did it for me. Very good value.
In all I found this hotel difficult to fault for the price, I would most certainly go there again and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Room Tip: Rear rooms quieter. Rooms on North East corner seem bigger.

We found the staff really helpful. Room was small, as they tend to be in city hotels, but well laid out and with good facilities. We didn't have the breakfast but there were cafes nearby. Both metro and RER train station near so very easy to get about, and easy walk to Eiffel Tower and the Seine. Bathroom good with nice toiletries, hairdryer, tissues, lovely large towels. All in all we were extremely pleased with this hotel.

Being to Europe several times, I expect things to be downsized from the US. This hotel room was bordering on tiny. The bed was king sized and comfortable but way too big for the room. The closet was tiny, but did have a working safe (having been told by management not to carry my purse on the streets because of thieves, it came in very handy). The bathroom was adequately large with a nonworking heated towel rack and no shelving in the shower so all soap, shampoos, etc were at your feet. The carpeting in the room was dirty and stained. The temperature was not allowed to be turned off and was 16 degrees Celsius at the lowest point & turned to 22 whenever we'd come in after the room was made up. The break came from being able to open the window which was nearly floor to ceiling. But since our intended room was on the 6th floor and we had to settle for the 1st as their elevator was broken, we had a view of the Metro train station and all the sounds and lighting that came with it accompanied by the street noise of constant horn beeping and garbage pickups at 10pm. We wanted an ideally located hotel to the Eiffel tour and it was. The walk was about 10 minutes long. Very close to the Seine and Museum Quay Branly, which is the best place to buy your Museum pass since there are no crowds there. The elevator was never fixed three days later, so I was glad we opted for 15 stairs in a very creepy dark stairwell that was basically circular, than 90 to the 6th floor. The lights in the room are controlled by inserting the card attached to your room's electronic disc key. When you leave the hotel you have to leave the key at the desk. On our 2nd night my husband went out to buy some goodies and took the key. Within 30 seconds I was in darkness save for one little lamp. When he arrived back to the room, he put the lights back on and when he closed the room door, a 2-1/2' square 1" thick ceiling panel crashed to the floor. Being directly over the sink & toilet, if either of us been in there we would have been knocked out or killed. It was extremely heavy and had been attached to wiring that was now hanging from the ceiling. I called the manager who came up 10 minutes later and said someone had been working on the doodads in the ceiling that day and apparently hadn't attached it correctly when done. My husband told him how lucky he was we weren't injured. He agreed and scurried off after throwing the hanging wiring back up into the space and carrying off the panel. The room was noisier and an occasional drip would come down if you were on the toilet. Not ideal. The panel was fixed the next day, but I spent the next two days looking up whenever I was using the bathroom. Hard to shower and wash your face that way. They took $115 off the room rate for that one night leaving us $100 on the bill for that night, but an American hotel would have never charged us at all for that night and the next. I guess being a tourist, they figured they'd never see us again, so whatever. The room has a small refrigerator which is stocked with overpriced items, and we bought a bottle of soda at the market and put it in the refrigerator. It was gone when were turned to the room. It does have noise eliminating windows (and that's a must in Paris) but overall, this tiny boutique hotel has a long way to go to be worth the price. If you are a metro user, it's a great local and the nearby restaurants and shops are very good, but if you're looking for comfort, this isn't the place for you. If I was 40 years younger and able to spend only time to sleep in the room daily, it would have worked for me. But at 60 this dinky, noisy, hot, too small for a chair and a bed, room didn't work for me. The day manager was a lovely young woman who impressed us with her compassion and grasp of what English speaking guests need, but she is a small part of a hotel that needs a lot of improvement.

Room Tip: Make sure you take into account the elevator may not work.

We enjoyed our stay at Eiffel Seine, it was very handy to the Metro and RER and of course to the Tower. We had a two rooms across from each other at the end of the corridor and a door that could be closed so we could leave our two doors open. The rooms were small but comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was included in our room rate, which was fine. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Our room overlooked the Metro and we were concerned about noise, but we weren't disturbed by it at all. I would consider staying there again.

Great location. Very nice and helpful staff. Room was small but we were looking for old world charm and this was it. Right beside a train station so it was very convenient to get around the city. We would definately go back to this hotel.

Room Tip: We had a balcony and it was nice to add a little extra space.

I won’t repeat what everyone has said about this hotel as i agree with most of the positives. I struggled over whether to give 3 or 4 stars but I’m going to give 4 as nothing was significantly wrong and some of my experiences are probably just particular to my stay and may not represent the norm.

Whilst the hotel is in a very accessible location, it’s not particularly attractive. The rooms are small and very nice but our air conditioning wasn’t working and room was very hot at night. I didn’t complain so didn’t give hotel opportunity to rectify.

I can't criticise the front desk service but it certainly wasn’t anything special.

Unfortunately the lift was broken. The hotel was apologetic and offered to take bags to room etc. These things happen.

We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel – felt there were plenty other similarly priced cafes nearby where at least you could people watch.

Luckily we paid about ½ the price of what a room costs through an expedia deal. I certainly wouldn’t pay over 200 euros a night – just not worth it even if that is the going rate in Paris.
