Stayed nights with my wife in April. Hotel room is standard good quality hotel room. Nothing special there. Location is right next to subway station so easy to move around which was great.

Breakfast was great, don't remember the price anymore but I think it was worth the money. Overall I rate that this was great hotel comparing price, location and room quality.

We spent four nights at this hotel and everything about it was super. We had a fourth floor corner room at the front of the hotel. It was clean and spacious with a very nice bathroom and lots of storage space. It is very near the Eiffel Tower. It was also convenient to a variety of restaurants and pastry shops, as well as all modes of transportation. When we visit Paris again we will definitely choose this hotel.

Room Tip: We had a wonderful fourth floor corner room.

Do yourself a favor and book a room in this great, clean, well-located hotel. You will enjoy a professional and kind service, clean rooms (private and public spaces), worthy breakfast and fair prices.
Most importantly, you can't ask for a better location - the 15th arr. is an elegant neighborhood and the Eiffel tower is in a short walking distance. Also, a 3-line Metro station is located just outside the hotel which makes everything easily accessible. Nice market around the corner twice a week - don't miss it! (Grenelle market). Other than that, you'll find all the shops you need on the streets by the hotel. We spent 10 nights in a renovated room and felt like leaving home when we had to return back to our actual one... hope to stay there again and very soon!

Booked a triple renovated room and was given one on the 4th floor overlooking Ave Motte-Picquet. Room is clean albeit small. The bathroom is really tiny with a shower cubicle, sink and wc. Felt rather squeezy. For €150/night it is rather pricey for a 2 star property. But then, hotels are expensive in Paris. We were told that they are in the midst of renovation and it is visible that carpet is mismatched and lots of peeling on the wall along the walkway to the rooms.

The positive points are:
The hotel is located on metro stop (directly in front of hotel) Motte-Picquet Grenelle on lines 6,8 and 10. Convenient to get to everywhere.
Lots of cafes, bakeries and chinese food near/next to the hotel. The next door cafe called Primerose cafe serves excellent food.
Monoprix (dept store/supermarket) is just 50m away on the right. And a further steps away, are more shopping and restaurants. Mcdonald is located just in front of Monoprix.
Eiffel tower is a mere 10 mins walk from the hotel. Walk along ave Suffren and you will soon see it.

We felt safe walking in the evening as the cafes near the hotel are bustling with customers. We did not hear any noise at all from the cafes nor the trains.

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, October 2012. Was given a renovated triple room facing Avenue de la Motte Picquet. The room was spotless, only complaint was the noise from the bar beside the building.
Excellent location, near grocery stores and a street were most locals do their shopping.
Will definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to the City of Lights.

We have just returned from 3 nights staying at this hotel, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The hotel was very convenient for the Metro, and there were lots of cafes, restaurants and wine bars nearby. Although the hall was a bit shabby, our rooms were excellent and looked like they had been recently modernised. We ate breakfast in the hotel each morning for 9 euros per person, which we thought was excellent value as there were cereals, fruit, meat, yoghurt, cheese, bread, toast, croissant. Having filled up on these, we didn't need any lunch. There was no tea/coffee in the rooms, but a Starbucks next door so this was not a problem for us. The only negative was the sound of the trains, but these don't run at night so didn't stop us sleeping. Each evening we had a drink at one of the bars (which all were doing happy hours) and ate at a different nearby restaurant. Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We stayed in the junior suite of this hotel for 5 nights and I was about to give this hotel 5 stars for reasons already mentioned by others – location, renovated rooms, etc. Everything was fantastic until the last hour of our stay. It turned out that the hotel miscommunicated to the airport shuttle service the date of our departure. So we stayed outside waiting for the bus that never came. I asked the front desk about the shuttle. They checked, admitted an error, promptly refunded the deposit and promised to call a taxi. Here when things became even more disappointing. The clerk told us that the taxi phone lines were all busy and she would try every 10 min or so. It actually took her 40 min just to order a taxi. I was under impression that the reason it took so long was partially because the clerk was only attempting to call the cab when I would come to inquire about her efforts. Needless to say, by the time we got the cab, we were worried that we would miss the flight.
