This hotel is a bit far from the centre of the city. There are towels, hair dryer which is not very powerful. We stayed 4 nights and our room was cleaned every day. There is a grocery shop, macdonalds and subway station next to the hotel, however the area around the hotel doesn't seem very safe in the dark. There are no FREE internet in this hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a room in the higher floor, maybe it will help to avoid the noise in the street at night.

Small, but very modern rooms, breakfast ok for France

Best feature is the location (next to cimetière de Montmartre) and the stunning view on the rooftop

Great surroundings, cozy restaurants and pubs

Close to the metro

Room Tip: Ask for the renovated rooms!

Stayed there for 3 nights with kids, and had a quadruple room facing the street. Its in a lively neighbourhood so there is noise from traffic and lots of people but we were to tired at night for that to keep us awake!! The rooms are small but expected for the price, a clean bathroom with a shower that has constant hot water. I dont know what the other (complaining) reviewers were looking for exactly... it was very clean, the beds and room was cleaned every day, nice clean fresh towels, nice helpful people, the breakfast is croissants, juice and coffee (it is France) and it is right next to the metro stop. One tip, Paris in general is expensive, especially if you are a tourist on a budget so buy food from the area the hotel is in, where the locals shop, fresh cheap tasty food. there is also a market in the mornings nearby with fresh fruits and cooked food...really good value for money. I would stay there again due to its easy access to the centre and its reasonable prices.

Room Tip: I stayed at the front, was a bit noisy but from what i heard its the best for the views- plenty of p...

Worst place ever. Should've expected it with the price I was going to pay. Got there, checked in, walked into a not made room, as in bed was just slept in. Tiny room, no space to even lay out your carry on bag. Driving up to the place already gave me a bad feeling. No parking! Couldn't take it so I asked for a refund, guy said he will and gave me another receipt, hope I actually get the money back for a two room two night stay.

The hotel was ok, worth what we paid for, had hot water, clean linen and towels, the room was made everyday! Location wise was perfect, just next to the metro and restaurant, supermarket close by! But did not fell safe to walk around late at night! Room was a bit too hot at night and if you open the window, you get the traffic noise! Overall for what we paid we were satisfied with the hotel .

I stayed one night at La Terrasse. It's a one star hotel located in the north of Paris and the neighborhood is not so good.My room (a double) was at the 5th floor (lift under works!) with a very small bathroom (shower). There is nothing to tell a bout this hotel except that if you want to be in Paris (or close to the metro), if you are not a tourist, if you don't want to stay more than one night and if there is no other choice, you can stay there !

I visited Paris in May with friends in May. We were looking for a cheap budget hotel for our 2 day stay in Paris. We found a good deal for a triple room for La Terrasse and booked it.

First things first. The hotel is far off from the main Paris attractions. It is located at Porte de cligancourt. It is a pretty rough area; so if you are travelling with family this place is not advisable.

Secondly I found the hotel staff very unhelpful. As most of you know in France. practically no one speaks English. Since I knew a bit of French we could manage. When we reached the hotel we found that the rooms were not clean. The hotel manager then asked housekeeping to clean the room. We had to wait for half an hour to get our allocated room. As already told this hotel is in the outskirts of the city and you can hear the sound of traffic inside your room also.

On the plus side the room was spacious and quite comfortable. If you put earplugs I assure you will get a good night's sleep....:)

The hotel does not have a restaurant off its own but there are plenty of fast food restaurants like KFC and McDonalds nearby. Hence no worries on that front....

So if you are looking for a cheap hotel then go for it otherwise there are better budget hotels inside the city. The biggest disappointment for me was the poor hospitality offered to us.
