First the location. Amazing. About a 30 second walk to the Champ Mars which is the park with the Eiffel Tower at the end. 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and the Sienne. Great bus, boat and metro transport nearby. Really wonderful location and in October when we were there no leaves on the trees in the avenue so a view of the lit up Eiffel Tower from the apartment was great too.
The not so great. This could be an amazing apartment but was in terrible need of redecoration and cleaning. The bathrooms were old, dated and absolutely filthy, the paint on the walls all cracked in every room, the bin in the old tired kitchen was the dirty outside metal dustbin and the traditional chairs in the pics are actually threadbare and broken. This is someone's flat that they are renting out. It's an air BnB not a proper holiday let. Guys, give it a lick of paint and get a cleaner in to really do it properly and with the location it would be fantastic.
We came from a beautiful farmhouse rental in Normandy to this but it didn't spoil the holiday. We were hardly in the apartment and despite the above being a non negotiable for us we really did have an amazing holiday. Location location location it doesn't get much better than this can ignore the dirty bathroom.
Perfect for a stay in Paris, near to the Eiffel Tower, the Metro Station, local Food Stores. We (Familiy with 3 Kids) enjoyed our stay in this nice flat.
Great location, clean, comfortably outfitted. Definitely would stay here again if I come back to Paris. Lots of restaurants, grocery shopping and convenient to transit options.
The Eiffel Tower Quiet apartment was everything we hoped it would be. There were six of us (three adults and three 9-11 year olds), and there was ample room, especially in comparison to the tiny hotels rooms (which cost more and don't offer breakfast) we have stayed in in the very same area. It was nice to sit in the living room with the windows open, enjoying the view. You can see the Eiffel tower out the kitchen window. The pull out Ikea sofa sleeper worked well and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of clean linens. With the windows closed at night it was very quiet and the fans helped cool the place down. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The toilet and shower are separate and serviceable. We selected this apartment for the location as well, and we were not disappointed. Perfect location. Three or four grocery stores all within two blocks. A two minute walk to École Militaire metro station. A three block walk to the Rue Cler area. Seven minute walk to Eiffel Tower. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. Heloise was helpful as well. We would definitely book again.
We spent two nights at this gorgeous apartment. Wim and Heloise were lovely to deal with, and left Champagne and treats for us as the trip was for my birthday! They also allowed us to use the apartment for longer on our last day as the next guests had cancelled, which was so kind of them and made a huge difference to us, as our visit was so short. We loved everything about the apartment, the location was amazing. We watched the Bastille Day fireworks on t.v and out of the window at the same time as we were so close to the Eiffel Tower! We will be back very soon!
One of the best places I've rented anywhere in Europe. The location is wonderful -- right by the Tower and a Metro stop. The neighborhood has lots of restaurants, grocery stores, and cafes. And the apartment had everything we needed. Even street noise seemed minimal for an apartment only one story up. Wim was helpful and friendly in person as well as by email. The apartment might be a bit cozy for 6, but for smaller groups it's a terrific place. I'd gladly stay there again.
