Great location, clean, comfortably outfitted. Definitely would stay here again if I come back to Paris. Lots of restaurants, grocery shopping and convenient to transit options.
The Eiffel Tower Quiet apartment was everything we hoped it would be. There were six of us (three adults and three 9-11 year olds), and there was ample room, especially in comparison to the tiny hotels rooms (which cost more and don't offer breakfast) we have stayed in in the very same area. It was nice to sit in the living room with the windows open, enjoying the view. You can see the Eiffel tower out the kitchen window. The pull out Ikea sofa sleeper worked well and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of clean linens. With the windows closed at night it was very quiet and the fans helped cool the place down. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The toilet and shower are separate and serviceable. We selected this apartment for the location as well, and we were not disappointed. Perfect location. Three or four grocery stores all within two blocks. A two minute walk to École Militaire metro station. A three block walk to the Rue Cler area. Seven minute walk to Eiffel Tower. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. Heloise was helpful as well. We would definitely book again.
We spent two nights at this gorgeous apartment. Wim and Heloise were lovely to deal with, and left Champagne and treats for us as the trip was for my birthday! They also allowed us to use the apartment for longer on our last day as the next guests had cancelled, which was so kind of them and made a huge difference to us, as our visit was so short. We loved everything about the apartment, the location was amazing. We watched the Bastille Day fireworks on t.v and out of the window at the same time as we were so close to the Eiffel Tower! We will be back very soon!
One of the best places I've rented anywhere in Europe. The location is wonderful -- right by the Tower and a Metro stop. The neighborhood has lots of restaurants, grocery stores, and cafes. And the apartment had everything we needed. Even street noise seemed minimal for an apartment only one story up. Wim was helpful and friendly in person as well as by email. The apartment might be a bit cozy for 6, but for smaller groups it's a terrific place. I'd gladly stay there again.
Apartment is ideally located a mere 300 meters from Eiffel Tower. Metro is very close by as well. Apartment was clean and tidy but had paint peeling from walls. Was told this was due to a leak. It does not have a dryer so this was a problem. The shower rose is not wall mounted so this was another issue. We were told there were double beds but it turned out we had to push 2 single beds together, not very successfully. Apartment was advertised that it had a lift available but was told not to use it as it was malfunctioning. Convenience stores, resturants, patisserie, butcher all very close by. Apartment served its purpose but we were a bit disappointed with what we got. Value for money 6 out of 10. Location is its selling factor
We stayed for two nights as a family of 5 in the apartment. The location is fantastic and such a short walk to the Champ de mars and Eiffel Tower. It was so easy just to nip out for photo opportunities at sunset and the Eiffel Tower twinkles on the hour at nighttime, which was easily seen from the apartment too. The fans in each room were very welcome as it was hot during our visit. Very close to local amenities. There is a smaller grocery shop just a short stroll away and a Carrefour supermarket with more everyday items/toiletries etc closeby near the Metro. We ate croissants and Pain au chocolat for breakfast each morning from a local Boulangerie. We were glad to have wifi available too. Perfect location to explore from and highly recommended!
