Several years ago this hotel was a dive. Nowadays this place which has been remodeled throughout , is comfortable ,clean and everyone is happy to help with your needs. They speak several languages so never a problem communicating. Its close to several metro and rer lines.Located on a fairly calm tree line street. The price is reasonable. However the rooms tend to be small. We did enjoy the week spent here and now have it on our list of pleasant hotels

Room Tip: They have wifi and a free computer to use.Tiny elevator!!!

The location is good, close to a couple of different metro stops. Though we did have trouble finding the right street when we arrived. We stayed in a triple room and I would recommend paying a little extra and getting that one as it was a good size, especially when you compare it to other rooms in Paris. Staff were friendly. The breakfast was alright, I would suggest skipping and trying out one of the patisseries nearby instead.

this hotel is pretty good. it was only rated a 2 star but considering some of the other '2 star' hotels we have stayed in it should probably be rated a 3. it is in a quieter neighborhood than most. it isa little out of the way, but it is about a 5 min walk from the subway. its also on the rer a line. you can take the rer b to chatelet and then transfer to the a. not the most convenient, but a huge plus that it is on an rer line and closer to a more major subway stop. we stayed there 2 separate times in 3 weeks. the second time we got the breakfast for 8 euro. for those who have not stayed in Paris it seems a little steep, but once you see the Paris prices it is SO worth it, trust me. especially for all you can eat. the rooms were clean and nice. the first room shower was super tiny. i could barely suds up. the second room was larger and the bathroom had a different layout. try to ask for room 37.

all and all pretty good!

oh, just be careful with the wake up calls. when we were going to catch a flight we asked for a wakeup call for 4am. it came at 420. doesnt seem like a big deal, but when you order a taxi and only have 20 mins to shower (for 2 ppl), get 2 large suitcases down and check out it?! that was the only problem we had. :D

Room Tip: try to get room 37

We loved everything about our 4 night stay at this beautiful hotel. We spoke little French but all the staff that we came in contact with spoke English very well and were very helpul and courteous. The hotel was very clean and our room had all new furnishings and was recently renovated. The rooms are small however those that are travelling in/around Europe will not be suprised and it is no smaller than other hotels we stayed at. The beds were comfortable and there was very little noise. We liked the free internet access in the lobby as well. On Sundays there are street stalls with good quality recycled items on the footpath straight out the front of the hotel which was a lovely suprise. For tourists, we walked to the Bastille (about 10 mins) and caught the Le Tour bus that took us to all the sights in Paris. Would stay again and would recommend to others

Reasonably great value for the money; the hotel manager spoke English very well. The facilities were modern, cleaned & all functioning well. The metro Nation is about 7 minutes to walk from the hotel. The hotel is situated at 12 Arr, about 20 minutes by metro to city centre & metropolitan. As a SOLO traveller, I felt very safe & comfortable.

Great hotel, very close to Metro Picpus, Superior Room only 77€ (w/o breakfast) good space new bathroom, average breakfast 8€ - you may consider eating breakfast somewhere else. Not downtown, but with the metro you are there in 15 minutes. Very little noice from the metro passing under the hotel.

We spent only 1 night in the hotel. Our room (No 3) was tiny but I know that in Paris it is hard to find anything bigger for reasonable price. Hotel is situated in the quiet street off Place de Nation just between two metro stations: La Nation et Picpus (La Nation is much bigger station with several lines). Location of the hotel is great for nice walks even to Louvre, Notre Dame etc.
Our room was relatively quiet with not disturbing noise and vibration from the metro but a very disturbing noise from other rooms. The room was renovated not a long time ago so it was clean except the window frame in the toilet (they forgot to renovate?)
Wi-fi is only available in the lobby.
After reading some reviews I expected something better, but for 1 night it is generally OK.
