Emily our guide was very good about explaining so much about French wine, the different regions, how to taste it and so on. We did the charcuterie, cheese and wine pairing and I was stuffed at the end of the class. There was no pretentious and it was a big bonus that Emily was bilingual. Our class was spoken in English. We purchased three bottles to take home that I’m looking forward to enjoying. I recommend to those wanting to learn more about French wines.
My wife and I attended the wine and cheese lunch on Monday, December 3 as part of our trip to Paris for our 10 year anniversary. The lunch was very well organized and provided ample wine/champagne tastings, and plenty of food.
The lady hosting the event was extremely knowledgeable and taught us plenty about French wines. I don’t believe she hosts every class as she is from out of the region.
If in Paris, this is well worth the cost and is not to be missed!
My friend and I wanted to take a break of sightseeing so we decided to try the wine and cheese pairing class and we are so happy we did! Our sommelier was warm and very knowledgable about the different wines. She brought a group of strangers together for an hour or so and by the end we were laughing and joking...perhaps the wine had something to do with that :) Either way, I highly recommend it!
We celebrated a friend's 30th birthday at O Chateau Wine Bar - perfect location! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience and meal was perfect. Rudy, our sommelier, was exceptional. The wines and champagne were very good with a good section to choose from. The cheese and charcuterie for starters was delicious. For mains we shared a number of dishes- all of which were very good. Leave some space for dessert- this should not be missed!

We had such a great time cruising on the Seine river while sipping on delicious Champagne. Our sommelier Vincent was very entertaining and passionate about his craft and shared it really well with all the audience. The atmosphere he created on the boat with everybody was great! And we learnt much about Champagne and its region. Very enjoyable experience to rediscover how magnificent Paris is at night.
