It was informative and the wine was delicious, but I feel it is for an older age bracket. Mostly older folks and definitely a very touristy experience. It has a very strong “group tour” sort of feel which is just not for me. I do feel that for many people this would be an excellent evening however, so if you’re looking for a slower, more large group-feel then you may really enjoy this!

This May was my second time visiting ÔChateau. First time I went was a year ago when I did a solo trip. I liked it so much, I had to take my cousin there this year. It’s a cute wine bar that has a cool tasting room downstairs. Most of the time, the session are completely full, so make your reservation early. It’s super fun even if you go by yourself because you can talk to people there. I actually met a new friend during my solo trip. The class is really informative, led by a very knowledgeable sommelier. You get one champagne tasting and 5 wine tastings from different regions of France. If you want cheese and charcuterie, it’s extra, but it’s definitely worth it. I really enjoyed this place, and both times I extended my time there with another glass of wine with their outside seating. I will probably go back every time I visit Paris.

Delightful. A most enjoyable two hours. Terrific! Very informative teacher with a great sense of humor. We like to think we know a little about wine but during this class we learned so much more. Highly recommend.
