The small restaurant has a rather ZEN like appearance. All white,no music,no distracting art on the wall.No salt, pepper or oil on the table.Apparently a confident and controlling chef.Very promising.
We had the 4courses lunch menu (55 euro, a bargain ) and opted for fish.Scallops and two great fish courses, excellent sweet/ sour balance, surprising combinations with a lingering taste. The dessert, soufle, was a mindblowing combination including merengue and mango.Reminded me slightly of one of my favourite Abri desserts.
A talented, serious Japanese chef with a keen eye for detail, with top experiences in France and Spain, yes , that's a future and Michelinstar quality.
Good selection of wine by the glass .We tried the Puligny Montrachet, the Chambolle Musigny and the Cote Rotie, generous glasses and reasonably priced considering the quality.,
Add a very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
