Booked 3 double rooms for a party of six visiting Paris and so pleased I found this Hotel.
We arrived by Eurostar and a simple metro trip of 5min and we arrived a 1min walk from the hotel. On entering the staff were welcoming and helpful. After giving my name we were told to sit and enjoy the afternoon complementary buffet while they completed our booking and the bags were ushered to our rooms by the bellboy.
I had reservations initially booking a themed hotel but this place has been decorated in a subtle and stylish way so the film theme is not brash and in your face. All three rooms were beautifully presented with complimentary soft drinks in the fridge and excellent toiletries. A gift pack of chocolates and more toiletries were also delivered to my room which was lovely. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of bread pastries and continental meats, cheeses, eggs etc. Staff at all times were friendly and helpful and I couldn't find fault. I would stay again and for the prices it was excellent value.

Positives
- the main areas were light filled, well appointed, stylish, clean and well maintained.
- breakfast was great, much better than I expected with options for all pallets.
- the rooms were a good size with everything you'd expect, large shower, very clean and well maintained.
- free drinks in the bar fridge were great especially as I was sick one day and needed hydration which was free here!
- staff were always extremely helpful and polite.
- easy to get to via the metro
- what you see in the photos is what you get
- nice and quiet
- for all the above, the room rate was excellent value.

Negative
- Only that the surrounding suburb initially felt "rough" though we quickly became comfortable with the area.

I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

With a movie and music theme to the hotel and great customer service we had a great stay.

The breakfast was good with many options and free espresso drinks. We appreciated the breakfast every morning before setting out on the city. Meats, soft and hard cheeses, eggs including soft and hard boiled do-it-yourself varieties, breads and jellies, a soufflé every morning, and fruits and vegetables. Great variety and options for everyone.

Our room had a music theme with actual snare drums for night tables. A good amount of space for a European hotel. Very clean and modern. Just a great space. We were very happy. The only possible complaint was lack of a towel hook of any kind. A very very minor inconvenience. Other than that it was fantastic.

The hotel itself had a great movie theme throughout. With old film reels inlaid into the cabinet doors and movie posters everywhere. Spotlights above the breakfast area. Velvet ropes, etc. I would say the theme was done tastefully and not overdone. The staff were wonderful. Very polite, helpful, and kind. They very informative about the city and the hotel. Including that you can stop into any of the other hotels in their chain to get free soft drinks and coffee while in Paris. We were given a map of where to receive these free drinks but never took advantage. Still quite a nice perk.

We went back to Paris a month later and wanted to stay again. Unfortunately we needed a room for three which they don't have. We will definitely stay here if visiting again without the kids or possibly book two rooms.

Summary.

Great rooms, great staff, good breakfast possibly great for Europe. Don't hesitate to book here.

The 123 Astotel Sebastopol is probably one of the best hotels in which I stayed in Europe. The service at the hotel is truly superb - Attention to every possible need of the guests was given to every detail in advance. The price includes all the contents in the minibar and an afternoon buffet of coffee, tea and desserts. The design of the hotel, influenced by French films, is unique and beautiful.
