“Staff great attittude”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

This hotel is lovely, new, clean, free wifi, great location for most places in Paris. But what really sets it apart is the great attittude of the staff. Without exception, they acted like friends hosting a weekend stay. We left feeling that we would want to return to see all these friends again soon.
We were always greeted by every staff member, and genuinely felt that if we asked for something, they would do their utmost to provide it.
When we were checked in and shown our room, we were told that we could change it if we didn't like it at any stage.

Room Tip: Floor 3 was fine. Views over internal courtyard was pleasant. Didn't hear the aircon, and would...

My wife and I spent eight nights at the hotel and I would echo the comments in the other reviews.
Excellent room(we had a room on the 6th floor) , tremendous service, very good breakfast and the location was very convenient to the Metro .Only minor complaint was the lack of storeage space in the room. We walked to many sights(Pompidu Center-10 minutes, Notre Dame Cathedral-20 minutes, Bastille-20 minutes, Louvre-25 minutes). The staff recommended several restaurants close to the hotel for dinner ,all of which we enjoyed, especially the Brasserie Vaudeville.I would strongly recommend the hotel for a Paris visit.

We Scots can be picky but this was the best hotel we've ever stayed at. It really made our trip to Paris. Service was impeccable throughout from likes of Erik, Gregory, Hedi and Mae who made the best cocktail my wife ever tasted! The general manager Hugues Godard personally welcomed us on our first morning and we really got the impression they couldn't do enough for you to enhance your stay. The lady manageress really helped us so much on our last day there. With the cinematic theme this place really had a great feel of a chic boutique hotel. I'm sure "we'll be back." Merci bien, au reviour.

Room Tip: Great soundproofing means rooms that face Bv Sabastapol are great and get the sun too!

We chose Le 123 Sebastopol based on the great reviews here on TripAdvisor. A good choice, since we had a really nice stay at the Hotel. Staff is helpful, nice and polite. Good location, a short cab ride from the most known destinations. I don't think the number one spot will stay, but i wouldn't have a problem to recommend this hotel to anyone else.

I will most likely book Sebastopol on my next trip to Paris again.

What N amazing hotel, I can't believe it's not a 5 star. On arrival Thomas Cook had not forwarded our reservation but the staff could not be more obliging, the room was spotless and definitely one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Real luxury, free non alcoholic mini bar, snacks and soft drinks for residents all afternoon, free films, l'occitane toiletries, helpful staff, amazing selection for breakfast, full English, fruit, smoked salmon, cereals, breads, cheeses, cold means the list goes on. The only fault my stay wasn't long enough I cannot recommend this hotel enough, an amazing hotel in an amazing location the marais district and les Halle's are within 5-10 mins gentle stroll, Norte dame about 2o mins very central, just perfect in every way. Thanks for an amazing stay x

Room Tip: As we were not expected we got the first room available it was amazing , first floor but there was n...

Positives
The Hotel is lovely and the staff were fantastic and the bedroom and public areas were very modern and comfortable. Really great feel
The Cocktails at the bar by Mae were amazing and she really knows what she is doing.
Great choice of movies on the TV and they are free !
Free and good quality wifi
Free soft drinks in the mini bar

Now the time to be picky.

Negatives
The lock in my room was not working and meant that I had left my room open. It was jamming on the security lock. Luckily nothing went missing.
The safe was not locking due to no battery.
There was a funny smell in the room in the morning and seemed to coincide with the person in the room above being in the shower which I could also hear at 7am in the morning.
The scrambled egg and bacon at breakfast was actually cold which at any price is unacceptable. Let alone 20 Euros!
The TV channels were limited for English speaking and also there seemed to be a connection problem with constant interference

I get the feeling that if the hotel does not refocus on quality and continual improvements it will deteriorate. It is easy when a hotel is new but to maintain high standard is more difficult.

By no means would I not come back but when a hotel is so highly scored, it needs to get everything right !

My wife & I spent a long weekend in Paris at the beginning of January. We found the Sebastopol 123 & its fellow hotels from the Astotel chain via the internet. We had never heard of it before & decided to stay there based on its good location & price.
On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find a different kind of hotel with amazing interior design of the public areas & of the rooms. We stayed in the top floor in the "Belmondo" room with a perfect view of the street & rooftops of Paris.
The room itself was very comfortable with a wonderful bath which came in handy at the end of a long day walking the streets of Paris.
The breakfast was simple but of high quality & abundents & was my favorite part of the hotel.
The staff were unbelievably friendly, helpful & efficient & made our stay a memory worth keeping.
The hotel was an easy walking distance from the Louvre & other main attractions of Paris & we hardly used the Metro or taxi's.
I am defiantly going to return to the Sebastopol or to one of it's sister hotels.

Room Tip: Rooms are all special & every floor is different,I recommend the top floor with a great view of...
